Jack glanced at the mayors and town station directors again.

These individuals immediately kowtowed and begged, "Captain Jack, we're willing to help identify the suspects. Please spare our lives!"

Seeing his response, they looked relieved and expressed their gratitude fervently. "Thank you, Captain Jack!"

However, Jack's gaze suddenly fell on one of the mayors, who was also wearing a mask of gratitude. Jack pointed at him and said in a cold voice, "Everyone I just mentioned will be spared. Everyone but you."

The mayor's face paled instantly, and he stammered in horror, "Captain Jack, I'm innocent too! I was also forced by Director Trema!"

Jack sneered. "Innocent? You're the mayor of this village. If you hadn't been pulling strings behind the scenes, I wouldn't have lost three of my brothers! None of this would have happened without you!"

"Captain Jack, this is unfair!" the mayor yelled in desperation.
