Dusk was falling.
Jack and his team arrived at Minsa District. However, not long after they exited the highway, a rumbling sound echoed in the sky.
Even inside the command vehicle, the noise was deafening.
Jack frowned and glanced at Haris.
Haris shook his head and said, "My team sent a helicopter to Minsa District ahead of us, but that's not ours."
Jack's heart sank. Fing entered the vehicle moments later, his expression grim.
"Two helicopters from the Armed Forces Bureau have arrived," Fing reported. "They're demanding we stop the convoy."
Jack clenched his teeth. "They've come faster than I anticipated."
He already had a good idea of their intentions.
"What should we do, Captain Jack?" Fing asked.
Jack exhaled deeply, his voice laced with frustration. "We can't avoid them. Stop the convoy and let's see what they want."
Fing immediately gave the order, and the convoy came to a halt.
