Idom was once again stunned by the sudden visit of Zigeyr. He will probably never get used to this type of visit.
'*sigh* I have no privacy at all.'
"What is it that you want me to do,lord?"
Zigeyr looked at the Idom who was writing something in his notebook before his sudden visit.
"So, how do you feel after increasing the area of your land?" Zigeyr asked with a smile.
"Oh, yes. I feel very good everyday fighting against the opposition's tricks and trying to quell the world's anger on us." Though he said that, he still feels gratitude towards Zigeyr for helping the country reclaim its lost land.
"You seem to be getting very familiar with me. Talking with that tone." Zigeyr stared at Idom's face, trying to see through his thoughts. Before, when he told Idom that he could read his mind, it was just a lie. He had just calculated what he could think. It is quite an easy task to read what is in the mind of humans with his intelligence. No god could ever exactly read someone's mind, no matter how strong they are. They can just calculate what they can be thinking. After all thought is a very complex thing.
Idom was stunned. Yes, why is he talking with a god with such ease?. He didn't know, but whenever he gets near this boy, his mind gets relaxed, and he seems to see him as a very normal being. He now remembers that he is a very cruel being.
"I am sorry, lord." Idom apologized. Though he suspects that he is the one responsible for this phenomenon, but he can't do anything to him at all.
Zigeyr then stared at Idom's face for some time. His constant stare made Idom nervous. Idom asked, "Is there anything you want me to do, Lord?"
Zigeyr smiled and said, "Do you have a child?"
"Yes, I have a child."
"Is it a boy or a girl?"
The beads of sweat dropped from Idom's face on the table. His nervousness increased. "It is a girl."
"How much older is she?"
"She is 20 years old."
Zigeyr then just quietly stared at Idom. Idom did not dare to look at Zigeyr. His face hung down. He already knows everything that Idom answered but he still asked. It increased the nervousness of Idom.
Then Zigeyr snapped.
Suddenly, a girl of age 20 appeared before him. Idom's eyes widened as he quickly got up from his seat and said in a loud voice, "I am sorry lord! Please don't involve my daughter. Please, I beg you!"
Ria who was dumbfounded at this time stared at her father and the unknown boy in front of her. She was serving her mother, who was still recovering from the unknown gun shot. How the hell she had suddenly transported here?.
Zigeyr ignored Idom's plea and stared at Ria. Ria looked at him and then looked at her father. She asked, "Father, what is happening? Why am I suddenly here?"
Idom looked at her daughter with tender gaze. Then he kneels down, and his pleading eyes looked at Zigeyr. "Please, lord. I am willing to take any punishment. I beg you to leave my daughter out of it."
Zigeyr, ignoring Idom's words, extend his hand towards Ria clothes and teared them apart. Ria looked up at Zigeyr. Her eyes mixed with fear and confusion.
"Nooo!" Seeing this, Idom got up and ran towards her daughter. But then,
"Kneel Down, Human!" The heavy voice of Zigeyr forced Idom to kneel down, unable to get up and save her daughter. Well, even if he was able to get up, he would still be unable to save her daughter. This is the price of his crime against Zigeyr.
After the war ended, Aside from gratitude towards Zigeyr there was one more emotion which filled Idom's heart. It was fear. He saw how those monsters played with human minds, even the other party was the enemy. Sometimes, in a war, they simply started killing everyone, even their own ally soldiers. They were complete barbaric and monsters. After the war ended, a determination filled the Idom's heart. The determination to never let the nation be in the hands of Zigeyr. It was just the starting and there was already this much chaos and ugly scenes. Moreover, it was with the hands of Zigeyr's subordinate. What would happen if he himself step into the battlefield.
This fear ignited the seed of betrayal inside Idom's brain. He was determined to never gift his nation to Zigeyr. When the other god's will awaken, he will ask one of those kind gods in his religion to take control of the nation. Surely, they could fight against Zigeyr and all of them will not be like Zigeyr, right?. The thing he was writing in his notebook before the arrival of Zigeyr was the information of Zigeyr and his subordinates which he could collect.
He had gone to everyone of Zigeyr's subordinates and tried to get some information out. And it was successful. He indeed got a good deal of information, but he didn't know that it was not because of his skill to get information, but because the subordinates had already grasped his motives and had informed Zigeyr of it. After which, with some normal research, any god could find that he is indeed thinking of betraying.
Ria sits on the ground, trying to hide her chest with her hands. She sits looking at her father kneeling, unable to understand much about what's happening. There were tears in her eyes. What is happening? How did it come to this? She is still thinking about these questions.
Unfortunately, there is no time left for her to think. Zigeyr, with his smile, grasp Ria's neck and drag her towards the bed. Idom was still begging but Zigeyr completely ignored his voices. Ria screamed and struggled under his grasp, but he won't release her.
Now, they have reached the bed. Zigeyr throws her on bed. After that, he glanced at Idom who was now silent. He smiled at him and then looked back at his daughter.
'Heehee.'
