The Metal Threat

The robot stops before as he's floating above the rooftop.

"I knew you, you're one on the bounty. Lucky~"

"W-What?!" Alex, is holding on to his broken bone as he's groaning in pain. For the information, Alex didn't have a clue about the bounty he has on his head which is 10 million. He looked at the robot, which was twice as sized as Hutogi. At the same time, he noticed the person riding inside of it, showing his face to Alex.

"Nice to meet you! My name is Tezin, one of five elite in platoon 1 of Flameborn!" The guy wearing a goggle called himself Tezin, started to point all of the cannon barrels that were on the robot to Alex.

"And, goodbye." Tezin pushed the button which released a powerful attack onto the rooftop, blowing Alex along with it. Tezin, smirks as he thinks he got Alex from that attack. That's what he thought when the rubble and stone grouped up together, creating a fort that protected Alex from the attack.

"This guy, even if he's injured badly, he really gives it all to protect the fragile life on his..." And then, Tezin started smirking again.

"Heh, but that won't be a problem!" From one of the barrels pointing at the fort from his robot, Tezin shoots the bullet at it, the bullet pierces the concrete, which can hit anything that's hiding behind it.

"That's a piercing bullet! Even if you were to hide behind the iron door that's made of black iron, it wouldn't help you at all! It can drill anything up to 200 Km to the ground, which is why you're fucked boy!" Tezin comes closer to the stone fort as he's crushing the stone, searching for Alex's corpse. But, he wasn't there, in fact, he wasn't hiding in the fort from the beginning.

...

"Fighting on that roof could bring the people inside in danger! I need to lure him to a place where there are no people!" Alex, hold on to one rock in his hands as he's flying above the ground. Alex noticed the trash can and commanded it as he looked to his back.

"Move upwards! And hit that thing all your might!" As Alex commanded it, the trash can move to the rooftop at high speed. Tezin, who's unaware of Alex's location was surprised by the sudden force that's hitting him.

Tezin looked to where the trash can was coming from and saw Alex was flying far, leaving the area.

"You... Do you think you can run away from me?!!" The moment Alex ran from Tejin, it made his pride hurt as he was filled with wrath. Tejin flew over to chase Alex and launched a few rocket missiles at him.

(Crap! I need to find something...) Alex noticed the incoming missiles in his way and searched for something that could protect him. A door, a window. Anything that was bigger than his body was used to protect himself from the explosion from the missiles.

"Grr... I'm not done yet!" The cannon barrels were pointed at Alex, releasing a powerful beam that sent Alex off balance as he was flying, causing him to crash onto the wall. The impact causes his body to get worse from the broken bone.

But that's not all, Alex could sense there were even more people around him.

(What?! Is it the bandit?! Or the civilian?! How did they not get to the safe place yet?!) At the same time, Alex's eyes were locked towards Tezin. The robots were gleaming, trying to charge a powerful attack on Alex.

"Go backwards 100 Km!" Alex tried to command the robot, but it seemed like it didn't work on it.

(How?!)

"It's futile! I'm going to destroy you to bits! WATCH MY POWER AS I BRING YOU DOWN TO A DUST!!!" 

(There's a people right behind me beyond the wall! If I were to evade it now, these people behind me would get caught in the crossfire!) With that in mind, Alex proceeded to command a stone and concrete from the ground to protect himself and the group of people behind him.

*BOOM!!!*

"This is the end!" Tezin launches a massive attack on Alex, completely obliterating his vicinity.

Some time passed, the building was destroyed by the massive attack. Alex, was near death as he stood in front of Tezin.

(Thank goodness, I've saved the people behind me by trapping them inside one closed space with the concrete. But, I don't know if my Unique is still working even if I'm dead.) Meanwhile, Tezin looks at Alex inside the robot.

"You're still alive? Heh, those rocks did nothing by protecting you against my high-tech power." The steel cannon once again was pointed at Alex to finish him off. Alex, looking at the incoming danger that would be... Death.

(Looks like I can't protect anyone here. Hutogi, Ten, I'm sorry but... I'll leave it to you...) Alex closed his eyes, waiting for his death.

*SHIING!*

A familiar sound from a blade made Alex open his eyes. Hutogi, managed to arrive in time and saved Alex at the same time.

"Alex, I'm sorry that I leave you." Hutogi cut the steel barrel. Tezin, without knowing, most of the parts of his robot were cut in an instant. And then, Tezin was forced to get out of the robot and he fell to the ground. Hutogi, look at Alex as if he's in a near-death state.

"Hu-togi..." Alex's voice was low, but Hutogi knew what he was mumbling about.

"Thank- you... for... everything..." Hutogi greets his teeth, as he's looking at Alex, he shouts...

"No! You're not dying here! It's my fault! It's me who leave you behind!" As he shouts, Hutogi opens his right eye.

"Devil Eyes: Exchange!" A second passed by, and Alex could feel his body become healthier as the pain was gone by the seconds. Soon enough, he managed to stand on his two feet. But, as he looked at Hutogi, he couldn't believe it.

Hutogi, on his two knees the blood dripping everywhere on his body.
