"You must understand how everything is built up: Do you know the multiverse theory from your home?" God's voice echoed through the white void, resonating with ancient wisdom and power, as he addressed John.
"Yes, I think I remember. Wasn't it like each universe is a separate bubble floating in a vast ocean? Each bubble is its unique universe with its own set of physical laws, properties, and maybe even different versions of you and me. These universes might exist parallel to each other, but they don't usually interact. So, while we're living in one universe, there could be countless others out there, each with its own story and possibilities."
"Yes, correct. But that isn't entirely true, would it be like this, they would collide and collapse, potentially shattering the very fabric of existence. Instead of mere universes, we have realms, crafted and governed by divine beings such as myself. The greater the power of the god, the grander the domain they command. Since holding one Realm alive cost much energy many gods only rule over a single realm..."
"How many realms do you have?" John's curiosity broke through.
This question didn't come unexpectedly, but it still made him struggle a bit. "I? I rule several realms!" The God's voice resonated with pride and a hint of mystery.
"Wow," John whispered in awe. "But wait, I have another question about the realms. How come that we can't reach another realm?" His voice trembled with excitement, eager for enlightenment.
"That is because they aren't mere destinations to be traversed at will. Only great beings, with power beyond mortal comprehension, can traverse the boundaries between realms. So, no mortal will never be able to succeed in entering another realm's ground without help from great beings." God declared, his words carrying the weight of divine decree.
John's mind swirled with a whirlwind of thoughts and emotions, a mere mortal confronting the unfathomable mysteries of the cosmos.
"But now back to you. I'm going to transfer you to another god's realm. He owed me a favor for something I did eons ago. You will be bestowed with the gift of tongues, able to comprehend and communicate in the language of that realm. Oh, and did I mention that it is a realm with magic and swords?"
"Magic?!" John's eyes sparkled with wonder, his heart racing with the thrill of adventure.
"I can see you truly are a seeker of wonders," God smiled knowingly. "Very well, then. I shall give you an over-natural affinity for magic."
A torrent of questions flooded John's mind, each one more pressing than the last. Will he survive in this new world? Is he strong enough to face its challenges? Will he be swept away in the currents of war and strife?
After hearing the unspoken fears of the mortal, God's voice echoed with reassurance:
"Do not fret, for I shall give you another skill!" He claimed. "You will be gaining a system - an upgrade of your AI you worked in your life. And also some other great skills... well, time is short. You shall see soon enough."
"Other skills?" John's voice trembled with a mixture of expectation.
"We have no more time for questions," God's voice boomed, its finality leaving no room for argument. As John's consciousness began to fade, consumed by the looming darkness, he cried out in desperation.
"WAIT!" But his cry went unheard, and the darkness closed in around him once more, gripping him tightly in its embrace.
