Unknown - Reoxs
I woke abruptly, finding myself seated at a strange angle on a rough wooden floor. The last time I felt this disoriented was after my mother passed away. What had happened?
"Hello, Sir," a voice echoed in my mind. Wait, in my mind? Again?
Memories rushed back, but was it all just a dream? And what about that strange voice? Was it real or just my imagination.
»Welcome to the world called Reoxs« the voice repeated, sending shivers down my spine.
"Who are you? And why are you in my head?" I yelled into the empty room, feeling a mix of confusion and fear.
»Hello. I'm a unique system here to assist you,« the voice responded in my mind, its tone strangely comforting yet unsettling.
So I must be in another world. That means it wasn't a dream and I died in my old world, talked to a god, and got reincarnated into another world. I was so excited about everything. And so I asked:
"What can you do?"
»I can help with almost anything. Just use the command [stats],« the voice explained, its words lingering in my thoughts like a whisper in the wind.
"What does [stats] do?" I inquired, feeling a bit uneasy about the whole situation.
"It gives information about objects, living beings, and even yourself," the voice replied, its presence feeling oddly intimate yet distant.
I realized I could use it to check my skills and level, so I gave the command.

A faint display appeared before my eyes, revealing a character, I noticed his deep blue eyes, sparkling with a mixture of curiosity and uncertainty. His raven-black hair fell in tousled waves, framing a face that bore the soft contours of youth. His features, still amid a transition from boyhood to adolescence, carried a hint of innocence tinged with the burgeoning confidence of growing maturity.
The character was surrounded by armor slots. Only the chest and leg slots had old clothes in them. As I touched the display, a character description appeared:

"What do the question marks mean?" Don't I have a name? And why am I 15 years old? I thought I was reincarnated! Or was I summoned by someone or something? wondered aloud, feeling a bit puzzled.
»???« the system replied. »It means you haven't chosen something or haven't unlocked it yet.«
"Wait, so I have to unlock my own name?" I exclaimed, feeling a mix of surprise and realization.
After the question marks vanished, the system asked, »How do you want to name yourself?«
That was unexpected. Completely unprepared I quickly start thinking. John was my old name. I hated the name. I always wanted a special name but my parents chose John for me.
After a while of deep thinking, I decided what name I will take.
» Registered the name Valerius Corvin are you sure you want to continue? Be careful you can only change it once! «
"Valerius Corvin," I confirmed, feeling a bit uncertain.
My body began to glow golden, and I felt a surge of energy coursing through me.
"What just happened?" I wondered, checking my status again, feeling a mix of excitement and nervousness.

"Wow, that was unexpected," I muttered, feeling a bit overwhelmed. "System, can you explain?"
»The name you chose has a big impact here,« the system responded, its voice carrying a sense of ancient wisdom.
With that, I closed the display and looked around the room. It was small and dimly lit, filled with old books that lined the walls. Dust danced in the air, giving the room a mysterious atmosphere. A single window revealed tall, ancient trees outside, their branches swaying gently in the wind.
'Where am I?' I wondered, feeling a sense of mystery and uncertainty.
»You're in a deep forest. That's all I can tell you« the system replied, leaving me with more questions than answers.
As darkness fell outside, I couldn't shake the feeling of being in the midst of something mysterious and unknown.

- can consume instantly the amount
- user needs to be conscious
