I still couldn't believe it. I died. I met a god, and I got reborn into the body of a 15-year-old boy in the middle of a dense forest, surrounded by ancient trees that whispered secrets of centuries past. The air was crisp, carrying the scent of pine and earth, while the distant sound of wildlife added to the serene ambiance. Inside what appeared to be a tiny one-room house, the scent of old parchment and leather-bound tomes filled the air, creating an atmosphere of mystery and knowledge. The walls were adorned with shelves upon shelves of books, their spines worn with age, promising tales of forgotten lands and lost civilizations.
"Oh, speaking of books," I thought, "I could maybe gain knowledge about this world. That sounds promising! That's exactly what I need right now."
I turned to my left and started picking up a book. In the dim glow of the moonlight streaming through the small window, the title was barely legible: "¥√§∆¢©®%™£". Its cover, adorned with intricate symbols and cryptic glyphs, seemed to pulsate with otherworldly energy, hinting at the vast depths of knowledge contained within.
Frustration and curiosity warred within me as I furrowed my brows, grappling with the enigmatic text before me. How could I hope to read another world's language with secrets hidden within these ancient pages? The mere sight of the symbols stirred something deep within me, igniting a hunger for understanding that burned like a flame in the darkness.

»A job can boost your stats in certain areas.«
Oh, that should be helpful. I tapped on [Librarian], and another window popped up:
Description Librarian
A librarian is a person who reads and organizes books.
Bonus effects:
- Quick Memory: Helps in learning by reading or hearing.
- Fast Reading: Doubles reading speed.
- Organization: Helps in building a well-organized system.
That should be helpful for my following task. I clicked on accept, and again, I felt power flowing through my body. I closed the window and looked back at the book. The title changed: "The Life of Hiroty Kura". No, the title didn't change, but I could understand what was written. It sounded like a biography. Not very interesting at this moment. I moved it to my left side and picked up the next book from the shelf: "Advanced Light Magic". Oh, that sounds interesting. I should leave that for later, I put it to my right and looked at another book titled: "Easy Cooking".
What the hell! Aren't they sorted? Not even a little bit. Oh no, I can't work like that. I have to sort them all before I start reading. That's going to be a hard task when I see how many books there are and with only the moonlight helping me, but I will accomplish it. Like my mother used to say: "Order is half of the battle"
~ 5 hours passed ~
"Finally done," I said, wiping the sweat from my forehead. That took longer than expected. I looked outside, but it was still too dark to see anything. The moon hung low in the sky, casting eerie shadows across the forest floor. I could hear the rustle of leaves and the occasional hoot of an owl in the distance, reminding me of this unknown world beyond these walls.
I sorted the books into five categories: general knowledge, history, magic, food, and medical books. Each category held its treasures, waiting to be explored and understood. The shelves now stood proudly, organized, and inviting, a testament to my newfound role as a librarian in this strange world.
The most interesting category was magic. I took one book out and placed it on the table near the window. Since I didn't find any candles or something else to get more than moonlight, I couldn't start reading now and I would have to wait until the sun rises. It was hard enough to read the book titles, but to read a whole book would require too much concentration, and I was already tired after sorting so many books.
No, I wasn't tired at all. But I should be. What is going on? System, can you explain what is happening to me? I was working for a couple of hours straight, but I'm not feeling tired at all. I'm also not hungry or thirsty, even though I haven't consumed anything since I arrived in this world.

One of my passive skills? I don't have many, so what could it be? I opened my stats:

Time Shield. What is that? I clicked on it, hoping to get the same description as when I clicked on the librarian. And my feeling wasn't wrong. A new window opened:
