Chapter 27: Tempt Me Daddy

“So, you are undisciplined?” I raised one eyebrow.

“I don't have time for games.” Igor stepped forward.

He threw one punch that I dodged and kept attacking. I avoided all the punches and moved around the ring, testing his steps. Igor was heavy and moved slowly. He relied on his punches and was smart about it. He moved slowly, making the opponent slow down, but today he was not fighting from the heart but with anger.

Deflecting, I threw a punch at his face, but he was swift enough to raise his gloves for cover and that allowed me to sneak a punch to his left shoulder. Igor shifted his hands and defended himself from the punch. I kept attacking and he kept defending.

I took a step back and said, “I can see you have the experience of an international fighter. But I want to change the strategy.”

“Why?” Igor demanded.

“I do believe you have not addressed me well,” I snickered.

“Why, Coach?” he muttered under his breath.
