IVAN'S POV 

The coven members left the Lev castle one by one and we settled in the living room after they left.

“Care to explain yourself, Nikolai?” Ma stood up defiantly.

Gleb pulled her down the couch. 

“Buzz off. I know that you knew about Nikolai. The first time we came here, you were scared shirtless of him. I wondered why and now I know,” Ma growled at Gleb. 

“I swore to Mikael that I would never reveal the true nature of Nikolai to anyone," Gleb responded in defense. 

They were glaring at each other until I chose to interrupt. “Ma, why are you furious when you already accepted as your son.” 

“Ivan, don't even start with me." Ma turned to me. “I know my son well and what I saw today tells me that you are not human.” 

“Ivan was awesome." Viktor beamed and Igor elbowed him to stop him from celebrating while Ma was furious.
