Vivian
“Missing? What do you mean she’s missing?” I jumped to my feet and held my arms out, glaring at Finn.
“I had a security team follow her to ensure she arrived at her destination safely. Coming off this compound can be dangerous. Between leaving here and arriving at her endpoint, they lost track of her.”
“Your security isn’t that competent, are they?”
Finn rose to his feet with a snarl. “That’s enough, Vivian!” He sliced his hand out to the side.
I bit back my remark and nodded. “I’m sorry. She’s my sister and I’m worried about her.”
“Understandable. I’m meeting with my underbosses shortly to get the details. You’re more than welcome to join me.”
I bit my lower lip and looked down taking in my booty shorts and pajama top. “I should go change…”
Finn tilted his head to the side, his stormy eyes raking me from head to toe. He shrugged. “If you must.”
