I was back in my room.

Where is mom? You didn't even try to tell me he's here already.

I cursed mentally. Not wasting time, I called mom which she picked up after 4 rings.

"Baby, everything okay? Is Dad home??" She panicked. I sighed..

"No mum. Chill. Dad's not home. Someone else. Which you didn't even tell me." I was doing what??? *eye rolls*

"Are you talking about Bran? Oh.. He just arrived when we left. And I won't be long. We're just in the market.. Buying some stuff. And Mia just saw a lovely stuffed toy, so she's getting, and then we should be done." She explained like I was a kid (maybe I look like one right now).

"Okay. Fine.." I hung up after that.

"Wait, why am I getting so anxious? He's my brother after all. F*ck you Aiden.. Just chill bro." I patted by own shoulder and took a deep breath..

After like what seemed to be an hour, I heard some noises downstairs. Finally,, Mom and Mia were home. I was about to go down, when my phone rang. It was Jeremy. So instead of walking down, I went up to the rooftop.

So our rooftop was like a small indoor garden with flower and plants of different types. Of course, it was my mum's. She loved it. But then joined in Mia. She also loved flowers and gave mum a hand. Her dream is to become a Florist. And I am sure she will be one, one day.

Back to the topic, Jeremy knew I was home, so unless it's anything important, he won't call me.

"Hello, Jer. Tell me. I am ready for it. You never call me, once you know I'm home. Is it very bad?" I asked him and I definitely heard him curse.

"Aiden, it's not bad. It's worst. I am guessing you will have to come back." Jeremy replied in a serious tone and he what??

"Did you just say I have to be back? I've been here for 8 hours max. Not even a day. I still have to speak to that sh*thead Dad of mine. He thinks it's okay to divorce my mum after wooing her. Not just that, he also wants to take my sister away.. Like hell, I'm letting him do that..." I roared..

"Aiden, if you don't come now, by tomorrow morning, be ready to hear that KING DIAMONDS & Co. is going bankrupt." Jer told me and I almost threw my phone.

"Jer, are you telling me my baby is going bankrupt. Last time I checked, it wasn't so. Which was last night.. Fine. Tell me who defected?" I asked him and he told me the names.

"Tell me why I'm not surprised again.." I asked him and laughed out..

"Because you knew?" Jer asked me back and I agreed. I did know about those ungrateful pricks..

"I initially wanted to give them a chance to redeem themselves. But they didn't.. Fire both of them, confiscate everything from them. Take the car keys back and ask them to vacate by tomorrow morning. I will call you back. I have to make some calls before I leave here. At least after I leave, my mom, my sister and my brother shouldn't face any trouble. I don't trust my Dad. He's a businessman like me.. So I have to find a way to curb him. After all, no one hurts my family and gets away. And he already made them cry." I told him and hung up.

All the while I thought I was the only one here, but there was someone else too.. Or maybe I'm hallucinating. I shook off the thought and called one of my lawyers.

"Hello Aiden, how are you? Long time, huh?" Said the man on the other side..

"Niko, I need your help. Aren't you a divorce lawyer? Fine.. I need you to be my mum's lawyer. Also, whether she gets a divorce or not, you just have to make sure of one thing." I told him.

"Keep your sister?!" Niko asked rather said..

"How did you know, I would ask for my sister?" I was surprised.

"Aiden, whole world is aware how much you love her despite the fact that she's your step sister." He said and I smiled.

"Well, does it matter though? I always wanted a sister, you know that. So what if she's not my own blood? You know she's an angel.. She cried this morning. She didn't want to leave me she said. Not only that, but she makes my life more joyful, Niko. You know me well.." I told him not that he had to know these, because he already knew.

"Okay, I will go to your place tomorrow. Also send me Mum's number, I might have lost the one from me, I had a fight with my Dad. And i smashed my phone.. So.." And I laughed hearing that...

"Okay, And Niko..." I called him..

"Yeah, Aiden. Tell me." He said..

"Get your mom to divorce your dad too.." And I hung up..

I knew he would curse me after that.. But even he knew it was really needed now. His Dad was abusive and often hit his mom.. Niko wasn't spared either. He would be a victim too at times.

Sighing, I turned around only to smash myself in a wall. But that wall was none other than Brandon himself. He was younger by a year, but still looked elder in all ways... Even built stronger than me lol

"Are you okay?" He asked and I nodded, "Thanks."

"It's okay. Do you have to leave?" He asked, and my eyes went wide.

"Sorry, I didn't mean to eavesdrop. You were so loud.." He apologized and I smiled.

I ruffled his hairs and patted his shoulder. "If you promise to take care of our mum and stop Dad from taking Mia away. My lawyer should here tomorrow morning.. Will you do that for me?" I asked him and tilted my head slightly.

He scratched the back of his neck as if deciding, and I narrowed my eyes. "Okay, I will do that. No problem." I let out a breath which I realized I was holding now..

"Great. Also, nice to meet you Bran..." I smiled to him.

"Same here, brother. Don't worry about here. Get your work done." He replied,, and I felt assured and safe to leave my mum and Mia with him, not that he would do any harm to them, but he's big enough to knock down my Dad if needed.

"Fine. Thanks again. Come, let's go down." I told him and we both went down chatting and laughing.

"Seems like you've made up." Came a voice from the door. Our Dad.

"We just never met." Brandon replied and my Dad raised an eyebrow.

"Now that we've met, do you think you can win against us?" I asked putting my arm around Bran's shoulder and pulling him close.

He turned to face me and winked. "He can't." He replied and we both faced our dad who looked pale as dead..
