Mezame vs June, Part 2

"Zoo Keeper!" Ivy shouts as she blows into her flute, using it to send a wolf-form Lycan pouncing upon the demon horde, and using his claws and fangs to shred through them.

"Morale Arrow: Arrow Daggers!" Ralph shouts as he constructs an arrow out of his Cursed Power in each hand, wielding them like daggers, which Ralph uses to slice through a couple of demons.

"Adaptability: Iron Gauntlet!" Jamie shouts as she reinforces her iron fists with her yellow Cursed Power, using them to slam into the approaching demon horde, and send them flying.

"Gunsmith: Assault Rifle!" Austin shouts as he constructs an Assault Rifle out of his Cursed Power and aims it at the approaching demon horde, squeezing the trigger, and using it to mow down dozens of demons where they stand.

"Ralph, look out!" Ivy cries to her squadmate. Ralph strikes down one more demon using his Morale Arrow, before turning around and seeing a beefed-up demon with its claws and fangs outstretched, ready to pounce on Ralph.

"Oh crap!" Ralph cries as he knocks back another glowing golden arrow, but it's too late. Before Ralph can fire his arrow, the mighty demon slashes its claws towards Ralph. But just in the nick of time, a spiraling light-green wormhole opens up behind the demon about to pounce on Ralph. Grover then leaps out of the wormhole, using a Cursed Power reinforced kick to send the demon flying, before landing on the ground before Ralph.

"HAH!" Grover spits as he points towards Ralph. "AND THAT'S WHY I'M GOING TO BE THE FUTURE CHAIRMAN OF THE SLAYER ORGANIZATION, AND YOU'RE JUST MY SIDEKICK!"

Ralph gloomy rolls his eyes at Grover.

"So what the heck's happening here?!" Grover asks as he looks around, seeing his blood-soaked comrades and the ever-approaching demon horde. "I thought you guys would have taken care of things here by now?!"

"I don't know what happened to the demons, but they suddenly just…got stronger!" Jamie exclaims, causing Ivy's eyes to widen.

"This seems familiar, doesn't it?" She asks.

"What do you mean?" Austin replies.

"Remember Hell's Bar, with Lucifer, the Bartender?" Ivy explains. "We were slaying demons with ease, but then Lucifer snapped his fingers; and all of a sudden the demons became way stronger, thanks to his Cursed Ability.!"

Ralph's eyes widen as well. "That's right!" He exclaims.

"Then we should find Lucifer, and kill him," Austin suggests. "Grover, you have the best nobility out of all of us (of course) you head inside and make sure everyone's okay!" Austin then orders as he turns to face Grover.

"Alrighty!" Grover replies as he teleports away.

"Now then-" Ralph begins to say as he takes a step forwards and punches a hand into his palm. "Let's go find Lucifer!"

"Right!"

"GOLDEN DEMON!"

Mezame draws his cane-sword and gets into a fighting stance.

"COME!" June then booms. "COME TO ME SO THAT I CAN DEMONSTRATE MY DUAL CURSED ABILITIES! COME AT ME WITH YOUR FULL POWER SO THAT I CAN PROVE THAT I'M SUPERIOR TO AUGUST AND WINTER!"

Mezame reinforces the lower half of his body again and dashes towards June while reinforcing his cane-sword with his silver Cursed Power.

"Curse Awakening: Soul Carver!" Slayer Mezame shouts as he slices his Cursed Power Barrier reinforced blade towards June, who brings his arms up in a cross while reinforcing them with his golden-white Cursed Power in order to defend.

Mezame's Soul Ripper into June's Cursed Power Barrier reinforced arms in a rush of silver and gold Cursed Power. But Mezame's attack then bounces right off of June's Cursed Power reinforced arms, his attack not leaving so much as a scratch. Instead, June's Cursed Power seems to surge after colliding with Mezame's attack.

"You know about the late Violet Reeve's Heavy Artillery…so I assume that you know what Slayer Akuma's Cursed Ability does?" June asks.

"Unfortunately yes," Slayer Mezame replies.

"So you're aware of the error of your mistakes?" June asks.

"Yes…" Slayer Mezame answers.

June then champers his right fist, as it begins bubbling with his golden-white Cursed Power.

"Heavy Artillery…" June begins to say.

"HEAVENLY DEVIL JUDGMENT!"

With a roar, June launches his fist outwards, sending a powerful rush of golden- white Cursed Power flying Mezame's way.

Mezame brings his cane-sword and his cane-sheath up and reinforces them with his silver Cursed Power in order to defend, but ultimately fails when June's rush of Cursed Power slams into Slayer Mezame, sending the old man flying backwards and off the roof of the building that the two men are battling on. But just in the nick of time, Slayer Mezame manages to hook the end of his cane on the ledge of the roof, to keep him from falling off. Mezame's legs flail off the roof of the building that the two men are battling on, as he struggles to use his cane in order to pull himself up.

Slowly, June struts over to Mezame and crouches down before the old man. "You look pitiful right now," June comments as he nudges Mezame's cane with his foot, causing the old man to lose balance.

"Getting old…often impairs one's combat abilities," Mezame replies.

"Then maybe I should snuff you out now, before you get any weaker," June suggests as he brings his hands together, charging up a sphere of golden-white Cursed Power between his two palms.

"BUT EVEN IN MY WEAKENED STATE, I CAN STILL DEFEAT YOU."

June continues charging up his emission of golden-white Cursed Power, but his eyes widen when June sees Mezame open his mouth up wide, and charge up his own silver emission of Cursed Power.

"CURSE AWAKENING: SOUL BREATH!"

Mezame then fires his silver Cursed Power Emission at point-blank range upon June, sending the half-demon flying backwards in a burst of silver Cursed Power. Finally, Mezame then hoists himself back onto the roof of the building of the Slayer Organization Headquarters that the two men are battling on at last."

"Your second Cursed Ability-" Mezame calls to June as the half-demon struggles to stand up as well. "Is to produce light isn't it?"

"I'll allow you to figure that one out yourself," June answers as his entire body begins to glow golden-white.

June then dashes towards Mezame, as fast as light itself. Once in front of Mezame, June unleashed a flurry of Cursed Power reinforced punches and kicks upon the old man, who counters by using his Cursed Power reinforced cane-sword and cane-sheath to block, while also countering with a few cane-sword slashes and cane-sheath strikes of his own.

After exchanging a few blows with Mezame, June reinforces his right fist with his golden-white Cursed Power before launching it towards Mezame. But much to June's surprise, Mezame reaches out and catches the half-demons attack, with a silver Cursed Power Barrier reinforced hand himself.

June's eyes widen. "How…HOW DID YOU CATCH MY ATTACK?!" He cries. "I'M EVEN FASTER THAN LIGHT?!"

Silver Cursed Power begins bubbling around Mezame's eyes. "Cursed Power Sensing," the old man explains. "I just don't like to show my Sensing off, so I typically use Cursed Power Hiding to hide it. I've already told you; I'm a master at Cursed Power Techniques."

"Dammit…" June growls as he struggles to pull his hand out of Mezame's grasp, but the old man holds on tight, prohibiting June from being able to get away, even with his light-fast speeds.

"Now-" Mezame begins to say. "Curse Awakening…"

"SOUL RIPPER!"

A rush of golden-white Cursed Power then explodes from June's body, but rather than powering up; June feels himself begin to slowly grow drained of energy.

"What…what are you doing to me?!" June weakly cries.

"I've never really explained my Cursed Ability, did I?" Mezame asks. "My Cursed Ability is called Curse Awakening, a Demon Kin Cursed Ability that forces Cursed Power Burst in others, or in simpler terms; I force Cured Power to rush out of the bodies of those whom I touch, including myself. I can't attack with my Cursed Ability, per say, but I can use it to strengthen my Cursed Power attacks by forcing Burst in myself. But when I use it on other people…I can use my forced Cursed Power Burst to drain them of all their Cursed Power, and then all of all their energy…killing them with no escape."

June's eyes widen. "I won't…let you…" June grunts as he attempts to use one of his Sunlight attacks, but finds himself unable to. "Dammit, why can't I channel Cursed Power?!" June cries.

"Due to my forced Cursed Power Burst, your Cursed Power is going haywire," Mezame explains. "You'll find it…very difficult to channel Cursed Power in this state."

June finds himself slowly growing weaker and weaker, and drops to the ground on one knee. "Shit…" June grunts to himself. "I don't even have the strength to stand up anymore…"

"Curse Awakening: Soul Ripper!" Mezame as he "grabs" onto June's golden-white Cursed Power Burst with a Cursed Power reinforced hand and swipes his arm upwards, "yanking" the rest of June's Cursed Power out of his body with one final pull. A rush of blood then explodes from June's nose and eyes, as he limply falls to the ground.

As for Mezame, he clutches the wooden hilt of his cane-sword and reinforces it with his silver Cursed Power as he brings his cane-sword high into the air. "Curse Awakening: Soul Slash…" Mezame begins to shout as he swings his cane-sword towards June, sending another silver crescent-moon shaped emission of Cursed Power flying towards June.

"BEHEADING!"

Mezame's Soul Slash then flies towards June, colliding with June's neck and slicing the half-demon's head clean off. Mezame's Soul Slash keeps flying for a little bit longer, before dissipating back into his silver Cursed Power. As for June, blood rushes from the half-demon's neck as his head rolls to the ground at his knees. The rest of June's body then limply flops to the ground.

Dead.

Slayer Mezame resheaths his cane-sword then places his cane back onto the ground, using it to help him stand up, but fails when he drops to the ground on his knees.

"I'm too…old for this…" the old man complains.
