One More Step Into The Unknown.

"Yes, you are not the only one who gets killed and lives again, lad, you are one amongst the few."

"Who are you guys then?"

"We? Let's just say, we exist to regulate the paraders, we are what the paraders fear."

"Wow…" there was a short silence as Liam slowly takes in the information he just received before breaking the silence once more.

"…that sounds so badass."

The skeletal figure immediately smack his palm on his own face as he was disappointed with Liam's response.

"Are you for real?" the skeletal figure began his preaching once more.

"You did not even try to think of the consequences of such purpose? That simply means that once the other paraders knows of your existence, they would do anything within their might…

…they will definitely push past their might if we are being real here, just to get rid of you, before you do.

Again, although you can't die, you are just immortal, not invincible nor eternal, meaning your own body can get messed up, as well as your living conditions.

One more note lad, you can die by any other death paraders' symbolic weapon when the egos living within is awakened.

If I am to actually get you to understand more, the man you met, his ego is of the war reaper, I'm the angel of death, another is of the crimson death, the grim reaper and so much more.

All have their own buffs when certain conditions are met but once more, I say to you, what use is of letting you know more when you don't have the strength to contain these words.

Lad, now that my restrictions in movement have been lifted a bit, I shall teach you on the path of the one who bears the blade that takes out the defected.

But first, you need to be conscious…"

Just before the skeletal figure could finish its statement, Liam's eyelids opened up and Liam quickly took a deep breath in before sitting up right.

He took the chance to observe his environment, having a look at the realm's sun, he dips in his index finger into the soil in order to feel the temperature.

"The late noon, huh?" Liam spoke to himself as he slowly gets on his feet.

"Alright bony, now, lead me onto the path that I should thread upon."

"Uhm… bony?" within Liam's mind, the ego made his statement.

"Come on, I can't just call you angel of death, right? Now tell me, what's my first task."

"At least, you should have already observed that the flames engulfing your arms are still lit you moron."

"Oh jeez, that's right…" Liam responds as he stares at his arms for seconds or so before breaking the silence,

"…uhm, how do I turn it off though?"

"Oh brother! Just imagine the damn thing dispersing!!" the ego's exclamation stung Liam's body as he quickly holds onto his head.

After some few seconds of recovering from the painful sensation, Liam then focused on his mind, breathing slowly and calmly as possible as he paints a scene of the flames getting extinguished all by itself.

After few moments of feeling so sure of his actions being successful, he opened his eyes and quickly looked at his arms and indeed the flames were extinguished.

"Woah, that really worked, huh?"

"Now now, you should have known by now that the mind space is actually the main weapon of paraders'.

Do remember to learn tolerance, endurance, empty mindedness and frequent meditation.

Now get comfy, its time to train your mind space." The ego instructed and Liam did as he was instructed in his own best performance and so did the two got engaged in a serious training session.

............…

It was a nice morning but only for the rainy day lovers.

The intense breeze blowing, the darkening of the skies, the dances of the trees accompanied with the rustling of leaves.

"Hey wake up, it's morning and the first years should be having a brief orientation."

The voice which produced the statement was of a low tune, precisely close to a whisper, a soothing one at that, to the point it could be considered a lullaby.

"Mmm, wait a little bit, will you?" Brianna responds softly as she adjust herself to a more comfortable position.

"Come on you boat, get up now!!" the soothing voice quickly turned to a harsh one, loud enough to sting in Brianna's ears.

"Arrgh!! Liam, the fuck is wrong with you?" Brianna exclaims as she sits up while covering her ear.

"Liam?"

As Brianna hears the voice one more time, she quickly turned to the left to know who was speaking and to her surprise, it wasn't Liam but a female instead.

"Sylvy?" Brianna softly spoke as she was taken aback.

"Hmm, who is this Liam guy? What do I not know?" Sylvia teased while pushing her a little bit.

"Oh my God, I forgot that you even existed, you bitch." Brianna muttered under her breath as she slowly got off her bed.

"Hey, that's no good, okay? I heard you, alright?" Sylvia scolded back.

"But did I lie though?" Brianna asked while making it obvious that she did not give a care about her previous statement.

"Hey!!! I can't help it, okay?" Sylvia replied as she tends to follow Brianna behind.

Seeing that she got up to follow behind her, Brianna quickly summoned her warhammer and pointed the tip close to Sylvia's left eye.

"Don't you dare and just stay back." Brianna ordered with a cold tone in her voice.

"Ooh frightening… can I take a peek though?" Sylvia requested with an innocent smile.

Brianna heaves out a sigh in tiredness before responding,

"The snow white hair, plump cheeks, tender face and height, a feature that defines a cutie to protect and die for, only to spoil this whole masterpiece with such nasty sickness."

"Uhm, don't forget my light blue eyes that gleams like a pearl." Sylvia playfully added.

"Just let me freshen up!! Damn!! I'll be late, didn't you say so?" Brianna barked out of irritation.

"The heavy the flavour, the closer it gets me to cloud nine." Sylvia winks as she teased.

Brianna strikes her palm onto her face in annoyance before making her walk towards Sylvia while cancelling her summon.

She grabs onto her neck as she stares straight into her eyes.

"Fine, seems like I did miss Liam a lot."

In response, Sylvia who was gasping for air as the grip was quite tight and was also drooling at that, with her two hands, placed them over the hand which Brianna gripped her neck with and applied pressure on it to make her grip more tighter.

"*sighs* you indeed are a lost cause but what can I say, I did make you this way." Brianna commented.

"Y…you kn…know th…that you do y…yap a l…lot" Sylvia replied as she still kept on struggling with breathing through her mouth.

"Oh, my bad, let's blame the weather for today, after all… it ain't helping."
