Hillstone Nightclub

As I tentatively stepped out of the car, I was on high alert as my gaze darted around, zeroing in on a bunch of luxurious cars. A few men dressed in poise, matching uniform were all walking around, and one of them stepped towards the other side of the range rover and accepted the car keys from the principal, right before he drove it away.

"I thought you said we were going to a nearby restaurant?" I asked before I could second guess myself. Kim grimaced and I watched as the principal shrugged a little.

"Relax, McCarthy. This isn't all that far either, is it? I believe we'd have more privacy here compared to a restaurant." He revealed and I felt my gaze narrow almost immediately. On a normal day, I might have believed him. But I could feel that something was undoubtedly wrong.

And so I cleared my throat and let my gaze wander around once again.
