The devil has a sister?

Avery gulped down the water in the glass cup like a stray cat. She was done eating the food cooked and served by the butler. She just wanted to go out right now to catch some fresh air because she has been cooped up in her room since morning.

"Maybe going for shopping will do," but Avery knew she wasn't even ready to start taking out the money she earned from her modelling when she promised to pay back her father's debt and get out of this beautiful hellhole.

However, she heard a car honking outside the gate.

"He is back, huh?" Avery wondered as she sat down on the couch.

She is going to pretend to be watching television.

Avery crossed her legs against each other as she focused all her attention on the TV. Some minutes later, the door was pushed open.

Avery didn't bother to check who it was as she pretended to be engrossed in the movie she was watching. She knew it was Sebastian.

"Hello. Is that Avery?" a cool, beautiful, and soothing angelic voice said behind Avery. Avery turned her head abruptly, recognizing the voice.

"Hazel," Avery muttered, her voice sounding edgy and her hazel eyes widening in shock. She was surprised to see Hazel in Sebastian's mansion.

"How are you doing, Avery? You look gorgeous as always," Hazel said, admiring Avery's beauty, which didn't go unnoticed despite Avery face being void of make-up.

Avery blushed before answering. "I'm okay, Hazel. You look breathtaking too,"

"Don't flatter me," Hazel said with a hand wave around her face.

Avery chuckled seeing this. She could see that Hazel was cute for some reasons.

"Are they that close?" Avery wondered, but she didn't want to interfere. "Maybe they were friends for a long time."

"Sebastian is not in the house right now. Should I let him know you stopped by or would you wait?" Avery chirped in before Hazel could ask.

"Oh.. That's good. I actually came here because of you."

"Because of me?" Avery asked, not sure of what Hazel was trying to say.

'Is she going to tell me to stay away from him and all?'

'His girlfriend?' Avery wondered as she kept staring at Hazel across the room.

The woman still has the smile plastered on her face like wall paper.

"I'm Sebastian's younger sister." Hazel introduced herself properly, which surprised Avery even more.

"The devil has a sister?"

"I'm so sorry. It's nice meeting you." Avery chuckled lightly. She wasn't sure how to address Hazel now.

Hazel could see Avery was trying hard to process the information.

"Congratulations on being my brother fiance! I'm glad he met someone like you Avery," Hazel said, walking closer to Avery.

She held Avery's hand in hers while Avery raised her head to look at Hazel.

"Well, I'm sad I knew him," Avery said but not loud enough for Hazel to hear. She could now see the little resemblance between the two siblings.

"It must be a happy family, right?"

"Thank you, Hazel."

"Now I have good news. You will be getting your wedding dress from me today, and trust me. I'm going to give you the most befitting dress." Hazel declared, grinning like a baby as she sat on the couch.

"What? Thank you so much, Hazel. I— I didn't know you owned the famous boutique. Thank you so m—" Something flashed in Avery's mind, and she became sad again.

She was supposed to be happy to be getting a dress from Azel Clothing's company.

If only she would be getting married to her dream man, but who knows what life has in store for them?

"Is everything okay?" Hazel asked, breaking Avery's thought. Avery flashed her smile as she parted her lips.

"I'm just glad. Thanks so much," Avery replied, trying to mask her sad expression.

"It's fine. We should go. You will be getting the dress today."

"Do I need to take anything with me?" Avery asked.

"You are okay like this, Avery. You don't have to worry. I actually came with my car."

"Okay,"

Avery didn't object as she headed to the door with Hazel behind her.

The two girls get into the car and drive out of the mansion.

.

.

"Is she out now?"

"Yes sir," Connor replied over the phone.

"Make sure you keep eyes on both of them. You must make sure nothing happens to them."

"On it, sir."

****

Avery was sitting in the VIP section while Hazel was busy trying to get the best three wedding dresses on the clothing racks.

When she came back, she wasn't alone, as three staff members walked in with her, holding the dress as they brought them in. Avery's mouth was left agape when she saw the three beautiful White dresses in front of her.

"I hope I didn't make you wait for long, Avery?" Hazel asked as she walked towards where Avery was sitting down.

"Not at all. You left just a few minutes ago."

"Okay, I want you to try the three dresses, and then we will choose the best one," Hazel explained while Avery nodded her head.

"I can just pick one," Avery said. She only wanted to save their strength and not stress them.

"No. I would prefer you try them on. I need to know if it fits you perfectly. So that we won't have to alter anything."

"Alright then. Thank you."

"The staff will help you with the dress,"

After several minutes, Avery was done trying out all three dresses that looked perfect on her.

"I guess I will be having a hard time choosing Avery. Is there anyone you would like to take?" Hazel asked Avery.

"I love them all. You can just choose for me," was Avery reply, and this only makes Hazel happy more.

Of course, she knew the perfect dress for Avery, which will render everyone speechless.

"Okay then." Hazel said, facing one of the staff.

The staff, who already got the message Hazel was trying to pass along, walked ahead to the dressing room.

"We should go to pick your shoes and every other thing. The gown will be coming in a day to your wedding. Just to make sure the groom doesn't see it," Hazel explained, smiling.

"Okay."

Hazel and Avery did get shoes and bags before they both left the building.

Hazel didn't bother to go inside Sebastian's mansion after dropping Avery off because of the call she received while in the car. A guy and a lady are both causing commotion in her boutique. She needed to go there to address the issues.

"I will see you before the wedding day. Take care of yourself."

"Alright, bye," Avery replied as she watched the car zoom off. She headed towards the entrance and stepped into the room.

However, what she saw shocked her to her entire being, which left her mouth wide open like a saucer. The devil was descending down the stairs with his pants hung low on his waist while his chest was bared to her face.

'Good lord,I'm fucked up!'
