Meeting the Family

Imani took in the beauty of the Harris’ home. It was breathtaking. Imani saw the love between Noah and his grandparents. She was surprised and impressed with the level of warmth demonstrated by the family. Imani was quiet but observant of all the kindness in the room. Noah watched her closely and smiled proudly when he introduced her. He could not wait to follow up on their phone conversation. She looked beautiful as always but today seemed preoccupied with her thoughts. Their hands had touched briefly a few times. She occasionally leaned closely to him being in a strange environment. Noah had to stop himself from leaning over and holding her hands often because he felt so connected to her. Jasmine and Katlin watched them together and were pleased Noah had found love. They could see he was a different man.

“How did this weird dude meet someone so amazing like you?” Austin Sr. teased trying to get Imani to feel comfortable and open.
