The Wedding Is Here

Three months later

Thomas closed his eyes and reminisced about his first wedding with Charity. It was quiet, and simply beautiful with the people they loved and cherished. The memory brought tears to his eyes momentarily imagining the day. His wedding and the birth of April were among the greatest days of his life. It felt surreal to be back at the altar but he knew he was bursting with love and a second chance at life with Hannah. This moment was now among the happiest moments in his life. His best man touched him gently.

“Are you okay?” Scott asked.

“I am fine better than fine,” Thomas admitted.

“I am so happy you found love again,” Scott confessed happy to stand by his friend’s side a second time.

“Thank you,” Thomas said trying to get his emotions in check.

“It’s going to be a lovely day,” Scott reassured him.

In a few seconds, the music played for the bride averting everyone’s attention at the back of the church.
