I didn't want to move. I didn't want that moment to end just yet. I didn't want to lose my gaze from his golden, honey eyes. I felt safe, knowing he had my back, but there was something more than just that. Something about our bond that put my heart at ease.

It was like trying to find a beautiful song you once heard, but it becomes difficult each time you search for it because there are many other songs that have the same name. Once you finally find it, everything feels complete, because you realize you can stop searching. Anthony was that song, and in that moment, it felt like I didn't have to worry about anything anymore, because I knew I had him.

As Anthony stared at me, he opened his mouth to say something. But before he could, my phone's notification went off, startling us both.

"Oh, sorry about that," I said, shuffling around to get my phone from my pants pocket.

"No worries," he said, leaning back in his chair.
