Pope’s Decision
In a grand hall of pure white…
"Pope! Pope!!"
A woman with short black hair hurriedly called out as she made her way on the luxurious carpet adorned with gold engravings.
At the center of the grand hall was a large statue of a beautiful woman with angel wings sprouting from her back.
In front of the statue was a kneeling old man with white hair.
He had his eyes closed and his hands clasped together as he quietly recited his prayers.
Hearing the urgency in the woman's voice, the old man slowly opened his eyes, "Raven, how many times did I tell you that you should be cal–"
"Devil…! A devil has descended at Toran City!! I just received a report from Her Eminence!!!"
The Pope's blue irises revealed shock as he suddenly stood up from his kneeling posture and shouted, "What!?!?"
Raven gasped for breath as she asked, "What should we do!?"
"This complicates things… The other Executors of Virtue are on a pilgrimage. Even if they are here, they still aren't strong enough."
"Anna is the strongest executor that we have at the present, losing her will be tantamount to losing a large portion of our power."
The Pope felt the graveness of the situation as his expression turned grim.
"Even the Saintess isn't mature yet…"
He muttered as he closed his eyes.
After a few seconds, he opened them and turned towards Raven.
In her eyes, he saw the worry and hope that she had placed upon him.
"We can't waste any more time. I shall personally pay a visit to Toran City and provide help to the Executor of Justice."
Raven was shocked at his words, "But…!"
"We really can't afford to lose Anna right now…" Seeing her concern, the Pope smiled.
"Inform the others of the situation, I'll get going now." The Pope waved his hands as a pair of golden wings appeared on his back.

He then turned into golden light that shot up towards the sky in the direction of Toran City.
Raven had her mouth opened in amazement as she watched the golden light flew towards the skies.
"To be able to cast a holy miracle silently… the Pope truly is on another level…"
Pap—!!!
Raven suddenly slapped both of her cheeks as her eyes lit up, "Focus, Raven! I must inform the others of the situation!"
Blue lightning crackled on her body as her figure blurred before disappearing.

Countless spheres of black fluid rained towards Regis.
"Tsk."
He dodged to the best of his abilities, but there were still quite a few that splashed on his body.
GRAGHHHH!!!!
The gigantic worm suddenly let out a deafening scream.
"What the hell…"
Regis cursed as he saw the "head" of the gigantic worm suddenly opened.
It wasn't the mouth of the demonic children's faces on its body, but the head of the gigantic worm instead.
Its "mouth" split into four parts as rows of razor sharp teeth could be seen inside.
GRRRRR—
Regis heard a gurgling sound from it, "I have a bad feeling about this…"
SHLOSHHHHHH!!!!
A torrent of black fluid suddenly erupted from the gigantic worm's mouth which was directed towards him.
"Ahhhh, shit!" He cursed out loud as he hurriedly ran to the side.
However, the torrent of black fluid kept following behind him.
Regis glanced back and saw that everything that the torrent of black fluid touched was melted and corroded.
'What to do. What to do. What to do.'
He racked his mind as he tried to think of ways to kill the gigantic worm.
'I don't have anything that will cause damage…' Regis thought as he realized his lack of offensive means.
He kept running from the torrent of black fluid as he kept thinking.
'If only I can break through…'
Something caught Regis's attention as he observed the gigantic worm.
'Wait is that…'
He squinted his eyes further and suddenly smiled.
"Haha! It seems like the world hasn't forsaken me yet…!"
He noticed that the little sunglasses protecting the eyes of the faces of demonic humans had disappeared.
Not giving up this opportunity, Regis immediately utilized his demonic power.
His figure blurred slightly as he continued increasing his speed, to the point at which the torrent of black fluid couldn't keep up.
Regis suddenly rushed towards the gigantic worm.
Shuikkk— GRAGHHHHH!!!
He stabbed both of the demonic face's eyes before escaping.
The gigantic worm squirmed, causing the torrent of black fluid it was spewing to splash everywhere in the vicinity.
"Tsk." Regis clicked his tongue as he couldn't fully dodge the black fluids.
'One more time!'
He thought as he rushed towards the body of the gigantic worm once again.

However, the mouth of the demonic face suddenly opened and also spewed a torrent of black fluid.

The mouths of the other hundred of demonic children's faces also opened and spewed a torrent of black fluid in all directions.
Regis gritted his teeth as he tried his best to dodge the gigantic worm's attack.

'It's finally done…' He thought as he stretched his body.
Seeing the mouth of the gigantic worm turn towards him, Regis dashed towards its grotesque mouth.

He met the torrent of black fluid head on as he continued running.
"Arghhhhhh!!!!!!!"
Letting out a loud scream, Regis leapt up and entered the gigantic worm's mouth.
Grrrrrr!?
The gigantic worm closed its mouth as it let out a few sounds.
It seemed to be questioning why the prey it worked hard to beat suddenly offered himself to it.
