In the red space…
Regis was currently flying towards the direction of the massive black sphere with a reddish hue which was located in the east.
'I need a powerful and destructive technique…'
He thought as he further increased the speed of his flight.
As he entered the mouth of the gigantic worm, Regis immediately formed his second demonic star and broke through.
Normally, one would need to meditate for a few hours in order to calm themselves.
This would make it easier for an individual to enter the right state of mind and be able to break through easier.
However, Regis was able to bypass this process due to his gift of Tranquility.
His body that had adapted to demonic power as well as the massive quantity of demonic power within his heart made it easier.
Regis had surmised that although he would be able to kill the gigantic worm, it would take too long.
Therefore, he went with a plan that would enable him to possibly end their fight earlier.
This plan was him entering the body of the gigantic worm as soon as he sensed that he had fully adapted to the black fluid.
Now, even when his body was submerged in it, its corrosive properties would have no effect on him.
The only problem was the gigantic worm's razor sharp teeth.
A gamble which Regis willingly took.
His body would surely sustain some injuries but he believed in the demonic power barrier he had erected beforehand.
'Finally!!!!'
Regis smiled as he arrived before the massive black demonic sphere with red luster.
'Please, let me be lucky!'
He thought as he entered the black sphere.

"Arghhhhhhh!!!!"
Anna gritted her teeth as she tried her best to slow down the descent of the Devil's finger.
"Just how long are they going to take?"
She berated the forces of Ligera in her mind, complaining as to why they still hadn't arrived.
Though she knew deep inside that there was no one who would be of help to her in this situation.
Still, she deluded herself in order to have hope.
It was also because being all pessimistic was just not her personality.
Deep inside, she knew that the time she was buying for Ligera was for them to be able to lessen the damages to the human territory.
After all, she also knew that the Acheron Kingdom didn't have anyone powerful enough to deal with the current situation.
"But I won't let myself die without even putting up a fight!"
Woov—
Voosh—
The wings on her back kept flapping as the golden flames on her feet intensified.
It had not even been an hour and yet, she was starting to feel exhausted due to the excessive use of her holy miracle and aura art.
BTOOM—!!!!
At this moment, Anna heard a deafening explosion from afar.
'It's in another part of the city…!'
She glanced at the direction where it originated and was shocked at what she saw.
A pillar of flames greeted her sight.
It was like a beacon of intertwining black and red that connected the earth and the sky.
What made her expression graver was the corruptness of the black-red flames.
"Another Viscount Demon?"
Anna muttered as the black-red beacon of flames reflected on her golden irises.
The Viscount Demon from earlier had escaped.
She also sensed the difference between the demonic power signatures of the two.
Although this one seemed to be relatively weaker, it was corrupt which was in contrast with the demon from earlier.
Based on her knowledge, demonic power could either be pure and corrupt.
Most demons would strive to strip away the corruptness of their demonic power in order for it to be pure.
This was the reason why Anna felt a strong repulsion towards the black-red flames.
"Although that demon is weak, if it ambushed me in this situation then…"
She would inevitably die.
Thus, all she could do was hope for the demon to somehow ignore her.
"Though I doubt that would be possible…"
Anna smiled self-deprecatingly.

[Verowall]
A chant echoed, followed by the deafening sound of explosion.
BTOOM!!!
A large hole on the body of the gigantic worm as a huge pillar of flames erupted from it.
"Haha!!! This is what I'm talking about!"
Regis laughed as he looked at the black-red flames on his hands.
He was still, after all, a child.
It was quite normal that he would be excited about these things despite what he had gone through in his life.
The flames of Agaroth, the Devil of Despair and Destruction…
Regis browsed through the detailed information of his newly-earned evil craft with a wide smile on his face.
'Powerful…'
It was all Regis could use to describe it.
Verowall was an evil craft made personally by Agaroth.
Taking the form of flames, it was supposed to be strengthened the more "despair" was in the area and was said to be able to destroy anything.
GRAGHHHHHH!!!!
RUMBLE!!! RUMBLE!!!
The gigantic worm's loud roar resounded in the area as the earth quaked due to its relentless squirming.
Black blood gushed out of its injuries that was left by Regis's evil craft.
"I guess I should kill this first…"
He thought as he observed the wriggling gigantic worm.
However, what made his expression grim was the expressions of the faces of the demonic children that also seemed pained.
Regis saw the faces of Greg and Lea, feeling a painful pang in his heart.
'I mustn't let them suffer any longer…'
He bit his lips as his heart thumped, as he once again chanted.
[Verowall]
Black-red flames slowly appeared from his hands as he dashed towards the gigantic worm.
Regis then leapt up, landing on the gigantic worm's head.
He used his hands to keep himself in place.
Then, a myriad of emotions intertwined in his eyes as black-red flames erupted from his hand.
GRAGHHHHH!!!!!!
The gigantic worm let out a scream as it relentlessly flailed.
Nevertheless, Regis didn't let go no matter what and kept firing his black-red flames towards the gigantic worm.
Memories of his life in the demonic human camp appeared in his mind.
Most of it was awful.
He experienced his first murder.
He experienced watching people die.
He experienced killing people who were only begging for their lives.
He experienced stealing the bright future of innocent villagers.
He experienced destroying the homes of innocent people.
He had done very awful things.
Nevertheless, he had also experienced some happy moments.
The vivid memories he had with Greg and Lea.
The people who were the closest to being his friends in his time in the demonic human camp.
Unbeknownst to Regis, a tear dropped from the side of his cheek as he was immersed in his memories.
And for the last time, he whispered a chant.
