First summon

Immediately the appearance of the magic circle startled him. Yet he was in such a terrible condition that he couldn't even move his body let alone try to escape. All he could do right now was stay still and watch that occurrence taking place in front of him with the hopes of getting saved somehow.

The light radiated from that magic circle was a mix of light pastel colours including baby blue and soft pink.

Then from within that circle, a tiny being about the size of a fist resembling a humanoid-plant with big emerald sparkly eyes appeared beside him. Its whole body was made up of wood while at the top of its head different kind of grass was growing out.

Just the appearance of this creature alone greatly puzzled Lucius. It was the first time he had ever seen such creature. And oddly enough he could feel an amiable aura radiating from this creature.

[Novice class creature baby druid has been summoned]

[Would you like to see the status of the baby druid?]

Although he felt surprised by the occurrence of this creature, he also became extremely irritated upon seeing this seemingly docile creature.

Like how would this tiny monster like creature save me from this dreadful situation?

Such questions appeared on his head as he let out an annoyed and furious growl, "Just what the fuck am I supposed to do with this monster? Babysit it? Or do you expect me to die while looking at its sparkly eyes?"

One after other, Lucius cussed and cursed like a crazy maniac. In his deathbed surrounded by countless corpses, as if this unknown voice was taking a pity on him by summoning an alive creature to mourn his death, Lucius felt extremely furious by the gesture of this unknown voice which proclaimed itself as Blood Pact System.

Since the system proclaimed that it could summon a creature that could heal him, he was looking forward to it. But upon seeing the appearance of this seemingly harmless creature, he became extremely disappointed.

It was like someone had spilled water on his dreams right when he was about to achieve the thing which he desired the most.

But while Lucius was blindly cursing, the little baby druid was healing his wounds. Since it was a being that could communicate with the forest spirit it was right now borrowing the strength of the forest spirit to heal Lucius's wound.

Afterall right now Lucius was in a forest. And there were countless plants present in the forest with healing properties.

Lucius however was ignorant of the healing he was receiving at the moment. Thus, unbeknownst to him, right now his wounds were getting healed at a rapid pace.

But baby druid was merely a novice class creature and it wasn't even a fully grown mature druid. Thus, there was only so much it could do with its magical prowess.

Sensing a soothing warm sensation, Lucius finally stopped his cursing as he turned his attention towards his wounds.

There the little baby druid while emanating some kind of green light was treating his wounds. It wasn't Lucius's first time witnessing this green light.

"Healing magic?" Lucius murmured as he noticed that green light that was constantly flowing towards his wounds right now.

That occurrence finally helped him to relax. And perplexingly, he continued to stare at the druid healing his wounds. In his previous world healers were quite rare let alone a monster that could heal. Although magic was common in the world he had come from, but because of the presence of knight system most people chose to become knight rather than a mage.

Since knights were more reliable than magician and war constantly broke through the empire, empire put most of its focus on knight which pushed back the mages.

"Seems like it isn't the world where I came from…." Lucius contemplated upon experiencing these strange occurrences.

But as he continued to look at the little druid that was curing his injuries, the light emanating from its body dimmed with time and the effect of the healing it provided also diminished respectively.

Even so, at the least his wounds had been closed and he no longer needed to fear death from excessive blood lost. Also, he had recovered enough to move his body as well.

If possible, he hoped that little creature could help him regenerate his lost arms. But that would be asking too much of it when that creature was already in the verge of collapse.

Finally, as the little druid ran out of its power and vitality, it turned lifeless and vanished completely as if it never was alive in the first place.

With this fortuitous encounter, at the least he avoided his death. But the situation was still looking bleak. Right now, he knew nothing about his situation and knew nothing about the place he was present in the moment. Surrounded by unknown corpses, he himself was in an unknown situation.

And they say, unknown is the most scariest thing in the world.

But who was he? How did the original owner of this body found himself in such situation?

There were many things he was ignorant of, but the identity of this body was the least bit of his concern at the moment. Right now, his top priority was to survive this dreadful situation.

Now one may wonder, shouldn't he feel at least a little sad for the death of the druid that healed him and saved him from the brink of death?

But why would he feel sad? He had no attachment with that creature and even its summoning was merely for the purpose of healing him. So why would he feel sad about that miserable creature which died in the process of healing him.

It was merely a tool for his use.

"Ahh right what was that voice which called itself blood pact system? Where did it go?"

As Lucius's condition stabilised, he started to ponder about blood past system. If he wanted to get out of this situation aside from his own survival instincts that was the only other thing he could rely on.
