David's sister, Danielle, and her fiance, Marshall, were finally getting married. It had been a long journey to this day, but they had finally made it. Alexia watched them exchange vows, her heart swelling with happiness for them. She knew how much they loved each other, and she couldn't help but be swept up in the romance of the moment.

But then, something strange happened. The music stopped, and the guests began to murmur. Alexia's eyes darted around the room, trying to figure out what was going on. And then she saw it

Elijah walked through the door of the venue, his eyes locked on Alexia. The guests turned to stare at him, their mouths agape. The priest stopped speaking, his words dying on his lips.

Alexia stood frozen, unable to move. She felt as if the world had stopped, as if she was trapped in a dream. She couldn't believe that Elijah was here, that he had found her. And yet, here he was, looking at her with such intensity that it took her breath away.

Marshall stepped forward and clapped a hand on Elijah's shoulder. "It's great to see you, man," he said, his voice friendly. "I'm glad you could make it to my wedding."

But Elijah barely heard him. His eyes were still fixed on Alexia, as if he couldn't look away. She stood there, her hands trembling, her face pale. She was as beautiful as he remembered, but something about her was different. There was a sadness in her eyes, a shadow that he had never seen before.

"Elijah?" she whispered, her voice shaking. "What are you doing here?"

It took a moment for Elijah to process what he was hearing. He had thought that he was attending Alexia's wedding, that he was finally going to have the chance to tell her how he felt. But now he realized that he had been mistaken. He had come to the wrong conclusion.
