Chapter 6: Preparing for School

As the time for school approached, Jelo, Jaja, and Janjan felt a mix of excitement and nervousness. They eagerly prepared their school supplies, from new backpacks to shiny pencils. Jelo's parents helped him create a special art kit, while Jaja's parents gifted him a guitar to pursue his musical dreams. Janjan's parents taught him the importance of hard work and dedication in his studies.

One sunny afternoon, Jelo, Jaja, and Janjan gathered at their favorite spot by the river. They sat on the grassy bank, their feet dangling in the cool water, discussing their upcoming school adventure.

Jelo looked at his friends and said, "I can't believe we're starting school soon. It feels like just yesterday we were playing in the village, and now we're going to be students!"

Jaja nodded, strumming his guitar gently. "Yeah, it's a big step, but I'm excited to learn more about music and maybe even join the school band."

Janjan, always the practical one, chimed in, "I'm looking forward to studying hard and making my parents proud. They've always emphasized the importance of education."

Just as they were deep in conversation, Mia, Ben, and Sofia joined them by the riverbank. Mia carried a wounded bird in her hands, while Ben held a bag of snacks, and Sofia had a stack of books under her arm.

Mia gently placed the bird on the grass and said, "Hey guys, look what I found. This little bird got injured, so I thought we could take care of it together before we head off to school."

Jelo's eyes lit up with compassion. "That's a great idea, Mia! We can create a little sanctuary for the bird and make sure it gets better before we release it back into the wild."

Ben grinned mischievously and added, "While we're at it, let's plan a surprise for our first day of school. We can come up with a fun prank to make everyone laugh and break the ice."

Sofia sat down next to Jaja, her eyes shining with excitement. "I have a new book recommendation for all of you. It's a thrilling adventure story set in a magical world. I think you'll love it!"

Jelo, Jaja, and Janjan exchanged excited glances. They loved Sofia's book recommendations and couldn't wait to dive into another captivating story.

As they continued their conversation, they discussed their expectations for school, their goals, and the subjects they were most interested in. They shared their fears and insecurities, reassuring each other that they would always have each other's backs.

Mia gently stroked the bird's feathers, her voice filled with determination. "Just like we take care of this bird, we'll take care of each other in school. We'll support and encourage one another, no matter what challenges we face."

Ben nodded, his eyes sparkling with mischief. "And we'll make sure to have some fun along the way. School doesn't have to be all serious. We'll find ways to make it memorable and enjoyable."

Sofia opened one of her books and read a passage aloud, her voice filled with wonder. "In the world of books, anything is possible. Let's use our imaginations and let our creativity shine in school. We'll make our mark and leave a lasting impression."

With hearts full of excitement and determination, Jelo, Jaja, Janjan, Mia, Ben, and Sofia made a pact to support each other through their school journey. They knew that with their friendship and shared adventures, they could conquer anything that came their way.

As the sun began to set, casting a warm golden glow over the village, the group of friends gathered their belongings and bid farewell to the injured bird, promising to return the next day to check on its progress.

Little did they know that their bond would only grow stronger as they embarked on new and exciting adventures together in school. With their shared enthusiasm and support, they were ready to face the challenges and joys that awaited them in the classroom.

And so, as they walked home, their laughter echoed through the village, bringing joy to everyone around them. They couldn't wait to start this new chapter in their lives, knowing that they had each other to lean on every step of the way.
