Argaman Range

The next day, Ryker and his group left the city, their current plan it to head towards the Capital.

Though, while they did left the city, instead of following the regular path towards the Capital, Ryker took another path, for he is interested in a place.

"So, this is the Argaman Range?" Ina exclaimed, eying the large mountain range. Some of the highest peak even piece the cloud, showing how large it is.

"Yes, and it is the best place to cultivate," he said, looking excited. Currently, he is at the peak of Genesis Formation. He would need only a slight push to breakthrough, and the Argaman Range is the best place for it, if one could brave the danger.

"Isn't it a dangerous place?" Era voice her worries. Behind her, the sole mortal among them, Miriam also nodded. While she is not a coward, she is not that brave either.

"Yes, but with danger, there is opportunity. I need it if I hope to reach the Genesis Condensing realm soon," the three women looked reluctant but nodded.

With a limp, they tried to follow him but was stopped.

"Do you think you can walked with the limp I gave you?" he asked, rising an eyebrow as he did so.

"At least you admit it," Era grumbled, one that was heard by Ryker.

"Looks like someone want their turn to be extra long tonight," shivering, the blonde looked at her lover with horror.

"W-wait, we can talk ab-" any argument was stop by a kiss on her lips.

"Don't worry, I will enjoy our time," and with that, he took out the Hidden Ancient Mansion, his intention clear.

Not saying anything, aside from whimpering by Era, the women entered the spatial artifact. Ryker would let them enjoy the bounty of the place, after he scout and make sure it is safe for them.

Passing through a thick forest would be dangerous and tiring for a mortal. For a cultivator, it depends on the thickness of the forest and their ability to fly. Then it would more of a nuisance than anything else.

He easily ran through the forest, as the trees are distance against one another, allowing him to pass between the tree. It did not take long before he reach the foot of Argaman, one he could tell from the rich worldly energy.

"This place is a haven for cultivator," he exclaimed. Just being at the foot is enough to make him feel like he would be able to breakthrough.

However, he did not plan on staying at the foot. He want to scale the range and reach the place where the worldly energy is the greatest.... if it is possible and there are no powerful beast.

He might be brave, but he is not suicidal.

"There are more of annoyance than anything else," Ryker grumbled, looking at the corpses of the wolf beasts he fought earlier. All of them are in Tier 2 with the number reaching 20, which would be enough to send even a peak Genesis Formation experts running down the hill.

However, Ryker could even fight a Stage 6 Genesis Condensing expert to a standstill, so he would not be deterred by such weak foe.

Currently, he is on the lowest peak, probably about a quarter of the height of the highest one. However, while the worldly energy is dense, it is not enough for him to breakthrough just yet.

However, it would allow Era and Ina to get stronger. He send a message through the token, for the token to the Hidden Ancient Mansion possess the ability to communicate with one another.

With a few seconds, the two women emerged from the Hidden Ancient Mansion, looking at him with a slight confused looked, one that changed into understanding when they feel the saturated worldly energy.

"Take your time to cultivate. I will keep watch," Ryker told them, before moving towards the edge of the peak.

The two women nodded before preparing to absorb the worldy energy. While Ina circulate the Righteous Spear Art, Era is practicing the Thousand Wind Scripture. An weaker Cultivation Art with Wind attributes compared to the Profound Wind Scripture, it do have the advantage in that one could also master a Sword Technique by learning the art

Ryker keep a watch, sometimes even going downwards and killing some beast attracted by the increasing worldly energy. Thankfully, none of the beast reach Tier 3, which will make them troublesome to deal with.

"Looks like it about to come to an end," he say, eying the thinning worldly energy. Soon, the worldy energy dissipated, leaving two stronger women in its wake.

Both Ina and Era woke up at the same time, their body brimming with uncheck power. Ryker use his qi to stabilise their condition, before taking a closer look at their improvement.

"Impressive," he exclaimed, "Ina is at the 5th Stage while Era is at the 4th. Stabilise your foundation first. Then enter the Hidden Ancient Mansion,"

The twin answer of '"yes," was heard from the two women, as they did as he said, stabilising and consolidating their foundation.

-x-

It took them another few hours before they stabilised their foundation. Another check in their Inner Realm showed they did not have any hidden trouble.

Satisfied, Ryker put them inside the Hidden Ancient Mansion, before heading straight towards the next peak.

And so the journey continued as Ryker head towards the top of each peak, fighting, killing, sometimes running, and even taking the herbs, fruits, and other materials he found on each peak, for either his usage or to be sold in the future.

But the most important thing he did is cultivating. While he could not practice or comprehend the different Paths yet, he was able to consolidate his foundation, making it stronger and easier for him to reach the next major realm.

However, it is his lover's that saw the greatest rise in strength. As he let them cultivate on the different peaks, they both had reach the 8th Stage of Genesis Formation, with Ina is close to breakingthrough the 9th Stage.

Seeing their improvement did give him some urgency but he decide to be patient, as his own breakthrough would require a lot of worldly energy.

"Let's head to the next peak," the silver-eyed man said, his eyes on the next peak, the second tallest in the range.

-x-

At the centre of the tallest peak, a red light can be seen covering the inside. Several lizards bathed in the red light, though their eyes mainly focused on the object at the centre.

Their eyes did not hide their desire to devour the object, knowing through their instinct, they will become stronger if they do so.

An eager lizard charged at the object, before the red light slammed into it, vaporising it until nothing remained.
