Overall, the book is pretty dog. This is apparently a rewrite, and I haven't read the original, so I can't tell if there's any legitimate improvement in the book. Pro: The story moves pretty quickly within the first 100 chapters . cons: Whole the story moves quickly, there's not exactly a purpose to the story, just that the MC wants to be stronger to protect his siblings. - The writing isn't good. You can mostly understand everything because the vast majority of the issues are things like saying 'took' instead of 'take', however there's a lot of it. In a single chapter the MCs name that is Ryker was called about 4 different names. - The writer often messes up cultivation levels, which makes the entire thing confusing. You never have any clue what's really going on, because suddenly listing enemies by their cultivation stage, like a stage 2 when the MC is at stage 4 in the book, but then saying they're at the stage of the MC the like. So battles become nonsense because at that point cultivation stages all seem made up and useless.
