Hal Estate

"Young master?!" the captain said in a whisper, "Ho-" "I will tell you later," Solance cut the man off.

"For now, I need to get to the family estate," he said in a serious tone.

"Understand young master," the captain was about to leave when Solance stopped him.

"The two women earlier, along with the silver-eyed man and the two women next to him are guests of mine. If not for them, I will not be able to escape," the captain wanted to ask by what his young master meant by escape but knew it is not the time.

"I will prepare several carriages for your guests and you,"

"Make sure to be inconspicuous. I don't want anyone except our family member to knew of the carriage destination and the cargo inside!" he said, showing the importance of the task.

"Don't worry young master, I will make sure it will be done as you said," the captain bowed to Solance.

"Good, and as for them," he turned towards the man who they hijack the carriage from, "You will remain here until we left. The guards will get you to sign a special contract that will not allow you to speak of what happened.

Of course, if you break it," Solance put a finger on his throat and slit it, earning terrified nods from the mortal merchants.

"Since you did not cause any inconvenience," Ryker threw them several pouches of gold, earning wide eyes responded from the merchant and his group.

"This is the reward and apology for forcing you take a detour," Ryker said.

The merchant shook his head, "Dont need to apologize Great Master. The gold is more than enough to last us 20 years,"

Ryker just nod, even though in his opinion, the amount of gold coins are as many as the man proclaimed. He had forgotten the fact the merchant is not a cultivator and hence, was not able to accumulate wealth as quickly as powerful cultivators.

Ryker waved his hands, sending the group away. After which, it is just waiting.

Thankfully, the carriage came around an hour after they passed the gate. Though, it was not as they expected.

"This carriage is for transporting foods and resources to the estate. It is the most inconspicuous out of all the carriage in Hal Family's possession as it often travelled to the gates to collect the resources from outside the capital," the captain explained before pointing to the crates inside the carriage.

"Each one of the crates contained more space than 10 Low E Grade Storage Ring, which can contain about 10 meter square of items. It allowed us to transport more resources at a slightly slower pace, but the amount that can be transported more than make up for the lack of speed,"

Ryker and other women nodded, as the captain continued, "The carriage driver had been change with a loyal guard of the family, so there is no need to worry of hiding anything from him.

However, there is still need to hide in case any of the people the young master worried about find a see something strange in the carriage," he warned them.

They nodded, understanding the importance of not being noticed. After all, for Solance, it is about not allowing the Uru to know something went awry with their plan, while for Ryker and his group, it is so the Uru will not be able to react to their counterattack.

Without any prompting, they quickly find a place to hide inside the carriage, positioning themselves in such a way that unless someone inspect the carriage, they will remain hidden.

After ensuring the young master and his guests inside the carriage, he gave a signal to the driver, who soon drive the carriage towards the Hal Family Estate.

"How long will the journey take?" Era asked after being stuck inside the cramped carriage for at least an hour or so.

"About 3 hours," Solance replied, earning a choked response from the blonde.

"That long?" Mashia asked in disbelief.

"Yes, after all, the capital of Mariz Barony is the largest city in the barony, so it will take a long time to go from the gate to anywhere near the area of the Great Family," he told them, as they huddled behind the crates.

"How long it will take to go from one gate to the furthest gate from it?" Ryker asked.

"About 7 hours or so. Of course, that is mostly because the carriage moving at a steady pace, to not cause an accident. Of course, for Genesis Core experts and above," Solance eyed Mashia while he was saying this, "are allowed to fly, but only at certain places and they need to be approve by the guards before they are allowed to fly.

There is still an Offensive Formation on the wall so it make sense to why Genesis Core experts and above not allowed to fly at their whim," he explained, as the others looked at Mashia who grumbled about restricting her ability to fly.

The white-haired man merely smiled at her reaction before explaining certain things about the Capital. He soon prove he was a good guide as he was able to tell certain landmarks and describe it in such way they were able to imagine being next to it.

And for the next 2 hours, they spend talking inside the carriage as Solance told the group more of the place he called home.

The carriage soon come to a stop. Ryker was about to jump off when Solance stopped him, "This is the gate of the Great Family territory inside the city. There will be guards to ensure no smuggling or assassin is hijacking a carriage,"

Seeing their concerned expression, he waved off their worries, "Don't worry, this part of the gate is guarded by my Hal Family, so we are allowed to pass easily,"

Sure enough, they soon allowed to continue their journey, allowing the group to sigh in relief.

Another stop happened soon after, causing the group to be vigilant.

"We arrive at out destination. Let me come out first so they will not try to stab you first," Solance said before coming out of the carriage.

Ryker could hear a scream of shock, before gasp of surprise, followed by disbelief. He heard Solance soon talking to whoever was outside before he finally said,

"You can come out now," Ryker and his group did just that, to see Solance is next to middle-aged man at the Genesis Core realm.

"This is your guide for the day. He will show you the waiting room while I talk to my father. Rola, please show them the waiting room,"

The servant nodded before he walked away though stopping when he realize they were not following him. Realizing this, the others soon followed the man as Solance soon make his way towards his father's office.
