 Ryker is born as the oldest of 14 siblings, so he is the one responsible to take care of them all. When given the choice of choosing the easier path or the harder one, he will take the harder, more arduous path, to ensure his siblings will be safe.

 However, the path he took is hard and long. Ryker must master countless Paths to rise to the top of the world he is on. But he will endure, for the sake of his siblings. He will walk great distance, travel through countless nations and visited the myriad realm, to become the strongest in the world, and later, the universe.

 Yet, why did all the women he met is interested with him??!!!!!!

Master of Paths, Ascending To The Throne of Universe

So, are we clear on each of our job?" Calrun, the oldest and most veteren out of the four people asked.

"Yes, sir." the other three exclaimed respectfully.

Though, Ryker was still given some side eyes despite him already doing lore than he should have to.

"We will depend on you then Ryker." Calrun said.

"Understood. I will hold it off asuch as I could." Ryker replied.

As for why he was the one to hold the Spirit Beast off, it's because of his Body Cultivation.

While Gold Body Realm would not be able to help much in a fight between Spirit Beast and Noble Realm cultivators, it would still be more than enough to hold the Blue Thunder Cat, preventing it from attacking the others.

Of course, Ryker expected to be injured while doing so. His Gold Body Realm is tough, but he did not have any delusion that it would be enough to block the claw of the Blue Thunder Cat.
