A New Friend?  

Ana listens to the boy, she turns back and replies: 

"Oh, I thought this place was empty, so I assumed it's nobody's, right?" 

The boy gets angry and retorts: 

"You shouldn't be here, this place isn't for cute girls like you..." 

Ana raises one of her eyebrows, slightly annoyed, she doesn't like it when people call her cute nicknames (such as fluffy, sweet, doll). 

"I don't see any 'cuties' around here, hm, where are they?" 

When the boy who is from the same school as Ana interrupts him, he looks at Ana, and for some reason recognizes her, he seems to know her, he introduces himself and extends his hand to greet her: 

"Hey man, be quiet, I'm sorry, don't listen to him..." 

"Hm, we went to the same school, so let me introduce myself, I'm Scoot." 

Ana has heard this name somewhere, but can't remember where, so she greets Scoot back, and takes the opportunity to ask about the poster in his hands. 

"Oh, hi, my name is Ana, I noticed the poster in your hand, is it for the Student Council Election?" 

Scoot then confirms that it is and that he is recruiting people, he notices Ana's interest and invites her to join his group. 

"Hm, yes I'm recruiting people, I have a vacancy for Treasurer, do you want to join my electoral slate? 

Ana thinks for a moment, then replies: 

"Treasurer? And who's running for President? 

Scoot confirms that he is running for President. 

Ana thinks for a few moments, then remembers having read her name on the campaign posters. She decides to accept, then shakes Scoot's hand and thanks him for the invitation. She hands over the sheet of paper she had filled in and they arrange to meet tomorrow during the school break. 

When she arrives home, her mother notices that he has arrived later than he should have, and she immediately draws his attention: 

"Ana, you're late, you have to train for at least 2 hours today!" 

Ana nods, she tries not to retort or argue with her parents, the last time she got angry and they argued, she almost accidentally set the house on fire, and ended up being grounded for days, she is finding it difficult to control her power, and prevent it from getting out of control, she goes towards her room, there are a lot of books on her desk, Ana changes. She takes off her school uniform and hangs it on a hanger. She puts on a casual summer outfit and then sits down at her desk, picks up a book on magic and starts practicing it, even though she doesn't feel like it. 

The next day, she meets Scoot in the cafeteria, and the other members of the group introduce themselves, the only one missing is vice-president Karoline, who is traveling at the moment, but will be back in a few days. They sit down at the cafeteria table and talk while they eat, they are talking about the projects of the Electoral slate, Ana seems to be very committed to it, she is very communicative when she wants to be. The group of the current President of the Guild sit at the table next to theirs, Scoot is looking seriously at one person in particular, Luke Becker, his eyes seem to be on fire, they don't get along at all, Scoot as always teases him, but Luke doesn't even pay attention to him and continues writing in a notebook and talking to his group. 

"The King of the school has arrived..." 

Ana then realizes that it's the two boys from the other day, she then grimaces in disapproval, Luke then looks at Ana and recognizes her, she's the girl from the report that the Coordinator came to inform them about, he's writing in the Occurrence Notebook his version of what happened, and he's a little surprised to see the girl from the report, sitting with Scoot's group, he then speaks quietly to Justin: 

"Justin, that's the girl who made the complaint, she's the same one from that day, right?" 

Justin looks at Ana and confirms: 

"Oh, that sounds like her... being with Scoot, hm, I don't know if that sounds good." 

The two of them are talking, when someone brings them snacks, Ana looks at the person, and is indignant about what she's seeing. 

"Losers and slackers like that..." 

Scoot is surprised and says: 

"Oh, I see you don't like those two either..." 

"Yeah, they're two slackers, they've got hands, they should go and get their snacks..." 

Scoot laughs, and agrees with Ana, the two finish their snacks, Scoot hands Ana some flyers with her update as Treasurer and asks her to hand them out to the students, to introduce herself to them, so that she can become better known and help in the Election, Ana follows Scoot's advice and after classes are over, goes to the school exit gate. She begins to approach the students who are leaving the school, introducing herself and handing out flyers to the students, some take them, others ignore her, but Ana doesn't stand still, when she sees that they have ignored her, she stands in front of the person, gives them a nice smile and makes them notice her and take the flyer. 

"Hi, I'm Ana, please vote for our Student Guild Election Slate, I promise to put an end to the Privileged, equal rights for all, and not to Abusers, and losers!" 

But as always, some people pick up the leaflets, don't even look at them properly and throw them on the floor. Ana gets angry, but she knows that this always happens, regardless of any situation, so she picks up the crumpled leaflets, unpacks them and puts them with the other leaflets that are left over. 

"People as usual, making a mess...." 

As she gets up, she bumps into Luke who is leaving through the school gate, and ends up dropping the rest of the flyers she was holding on the ground.
