Legend says that Zarqa had sharp eyes that could look far away in the distance. But what if that wasn’t the end of it, what if her eyes were seeing far beyond not only space, but time? What if Zarqa was blessed with a prophecy, one that could save her dying village from destruction? 

Just as they thought they had no way to survive, Zarqa learns of a way to protect her village from demolition. Naturally, no one believed her, for no one but the Almighty could see beyond the present. 

They forgot the Almighty offers knowledge to those whom he deems of worth. And Zarqa was one of them. Having to trudge an arduous path and go through a great adventure, Zarqa seeks to find the solution to all of their problems, a treasure said to have the power to change all. 

Pitted against magical traps and the mysteries of the deserts, she finds unexpected company in Ali Baba, the poor kid with the sticky fingers, and his crow Morjana...

ZARQA

Being startled awake in the night because of the strange feeling that someone, or maybe something, was watching you is a disorienting experience. One after which returning to sleep was almost impossible.

Trying to shake the sensation of being closely supervised, as she could find no soul nearby, Zarqa decided it was too late to even lay in bed and pretend to sleep.

By the feeble light of an oil lamp left at her disposal, she climbed out of bed and, taking a quick look around her room for good measures, decided she ought to get some work done on that clue.

It was better than thinking about what had disturbed her or just staring off at the horizon.
