The Mountain Forge

A woman flew into the hall and landed before the sect leader, who sat cross-legged. She knew he was busy communicating but to her, the issues she brought up were more important.

As if sensing her distress, the sect leader opened his eyes. "Martial sister Mo, you look troubled. What is it?"

"It's about Li Chen. He was able to destroy a 10 star heaven-grade treasure and grow to the peak of the immortal Daoist level, but his accomplishments in his sword path are still unknown. I admit I've always looked down on him but hasn't he proved himself to be a monstrous prodigy?"

The sect leader got to his feet and clasped his hands behind him. Sighing softly, he said. "I've seen all of this, my martial sister. I have also heard of what he had to go through. The brat was only interested in our resources; otherwise, he wouldn't have waited until it was time for the competition."
