That morning, Lady Brienda left with Lord Brienda for Baldrig Castle on the Lord's dragon leaving Vinnandra behind to do most of the hauling and packing while supervising the maidservants.

The High Council as it is was was already anticipated to be a week-long meeting, and currently, everyone that could afford it was making their way to Baldrig Castle. Vinn on her own part was almost sure that whatever decision that was going to be made at the High Council would be one that would impact her standing as a Spy Rider.

She secretly wondered if this time, a decision to infiltrate Vale would be made. The thought made her anxious because she didn't believe that she was yet ready to take on such a task, at the same time she was filled with a yearning to be done with everything and be back with her life already….

… that is if ever there was a life that would be waiting for her by then.
