"You're coming with me".

"Huh??"

Li Yun didn't waste much time as he teleported to his room with Xi Xhen.

"Oh no, not that again". Lilie said out loud. "I think we had better stay in touch with each other for now and leave Xhen". Lilie suggested this to Zhen.

Zhen Zhen nodded in response. In truth, she didn't dare to be an obstacle who would stand in the way of the prince's relationship with his princess consort, who happened to be Xhen Xhen.

Chin Yun was furious, jealous, and started ranting in anger and frustration. "Hey you, get over here!". She angrily ordered Zhen Zhen.

Zhen was about to obey Chin Yun, but Lilie stopped her before she could.

"Hey, are you always this dumb?? Just walk away from her, I'll cover you". Lilie said to her with both hands on her little waist.

"Em. Ok".

"Look here, I am talking to you, get back here!!". Chin Yun yelled loudly this time around, but Zhen Zhen continued to walk away. Chin Yun lost it again. "Even a Damn low servant dared to treat me like this?!. Go get her and force her to her knees!". She ordered Zaya.

"With pleasure, Young Mistress''. Zaya ran after Zhen Zhen and tried to stop her, but she accidentally fell face flat on the ground. It was all Lilie's handiwork.

Lilie did that purposely, before letting out a broad satisfying smile. "That will teach you all a lesson, hmph". She commented before following Zhen Zhen.

"Aaah!!! Get out of my way!". Chin Yun angrily yelled and shoved the other concubines from her path.

Zaya ran after her young mistress. She felt guilty about not being able to execute her young mistress's simple order. She sure would make it up to her young mistress.

'Swoosh'. Li Yun teleported Xi Xhen to his large bedroom Chamber.

"Hey! What are you planning on doing?? Let me go!!". Xi Xhen struggled to get released from his hold but didn't expect the next action he took. He pinned her to the wall and kissed her.

'What the?'. Xi Xhen opened her eyes wide in shock.

She struggled again as she tried her possible best to push him away.

Li Yun released from the kiss.

Xi Xhen didn't know whether to cry or be excited. This was her very first kiss that he stole from her!.

"Y- You!!". She yelled at him as she tried to hit him, but he caught her hand in the midair.

Li Yun smirked and threatened her, "I won't hesitate to do that again if you don't stop struggling".

Xi Xhen couldn't deny the fact that this dude was perhaps the most handsome guy she had ever seen before in her life. Unfortunately, she disliked him!

She automatically stood still. She could endure any other thing, except this guy's kiss.

Seeing that Xi Xhen had settled down, Li Yun let her go.

'Phew'. Xi Xhen sighed after Li Yun let go of her. She took this opportunity to run outside, but she bumped her head hard into some kind of unknown force. She then realised that Li Yun didn't freely let her go. Instead, he had put a strong barrier on her. 'What's his problem?!'. She gritted her teeth as she wondered.

"Let me out of this strange barrier!! I said you should let me out of here!!". She continuously yelled at Li Yun.

"Why should I?". Li Yun wrapped his arms around his abdomen as he asked her.

"Let me out, or else, I'll haunt you in your dreams!". She said what was in her mind.

"Is that perhaps another of your tricks, my wife?"

Xi Xhen didn't have enough energy to argue with him any longer, so she went and sat down on his bed, because she couldn't leave the room. "At least bring me some wine if you want to keep me locked up here. I need to relax my mind". She said with a grumpy look on her face.

Li Yun: ??. 'She's such a strange being'. He shook his head in disbelief as he thought.

"Eh? Wait. Where are you planning on going?". She asked him. 'He can't possibly leave when I'm trapped here, right? I can not let that happen'. She thought.

Li Yun chose not to reply to Xhen. He simply teleported into thin air.

Xi Xhen became stunned and speechless for like a minute.

"What's wrong with that lunatic? I told him to release me from here. Get back here and remove this silly barrier!". She yelled continuously at Li Yun who had already left the room.

After many minutes of shouting and ranting, Xi Xhen got tired. She lay down on the bed and slept off due to fatigue.

"Here is what you ordered for, your highness. But may I ask what use it is for?". Zu Wan boosted his courage and dared to ask Li Yun. He was earlier ordered by Li Yun through a mind link to bring the empire's history book.

"To confirm my doubts". Li Yun replied, as he collected the old-looking book from Zu wan.

Zu Wan left Li Yun's side and went away, in order to give Li Yun some privacy time alone, because he was definitely sure that Li Yun needed one.

Li Yun started by opening the pages of the book. [The book read: The legend showed that all ancient powerful beings ‘The supernatural beings’ were extinct about a thousand years ago, because of the great riot war, due to their greed for more powers. It stated that no ancient magical strong being, other than the less powerful sorcerers, existed again after the great riot war ended].

The book showed the past stories of wars that happened between supernatural beings, who fought to gain more powers. It was the bravest of them all, Wang Cha, who wasn't corrupted among the other supernatural beings. He made a forbidden deal with the spirit of the underworld, and that let him become the most powerful being to ever exist. But that wasn't for long, because there were also consequences, and he also knew about that. His aim was to sacrifice himself to end the brutal riot war. With his new unlimited powers, he cast a great spell which took his life instantly.

The earth swallowed the remaining supernatural beings who were alive. And those who had managed to escape were all met by a strong light force which caused them to become powerless like normal human beings and sorcerers.

Up till this date, no normal human beings, sorcerers, or even magical beings and shapeshifters and so on, had ever witnessed any other supernatural beings who were like Li Yun.

Yeah, Li Yun was a supernatural being, even though he was birthed by the empress and emperor, who were normal human beings without magical powers.

This event concerning Li Yun was a huge surprise, shock, and disbelief to the empire, as experts were still searching for answers as to why Li Yun turned out to be a supernatural being from birth.

Li Yun was disappointed because the book didn't show any revelation of the thing he was searching for.

"I can't believe that they're planning on giving away their precious Princess to an unknown stranger because of an annoying marriage". Quin Quin murmured.

"Take it easy there, little sister. You're not alone. You have me". Li Nan encouraged her, as he tried to cheer her up.

"Tsk. It's for the benefit of the empire after all". Quin Quin sadly sighed after saying, before she then sat down on her large spacious bed. Her wedding ceremony will be held in just a few days from now. She was really anxious and feeling scared.

Li Nan felt sorry for his little sister. He wished he had the power to stop Quin Quin's coming marriage. But he was extremely powerless to prevent the marriage from going on. He understood his little sister's pain, because he knew that he, himself, would not be happy to get married to a person he had no feelings for.

"Don't you worry. Everything is going to turn out to be fine". He assured her.

"Mm". She nodded. "But will she come?". She couldn't help but ask.
