Strange nightmare/ Poisoned.

"Will she come??". Quin Quin sighed when she asked.

"No worries, she definitely will". Li Nan assured her.

"Mmhm. You're right, big brother Nan". Quin Quin said to him, as she was trying to be positive rather than being negative. Since Li Nan had already confirmed to her that Li Yun was coming, then there was no need for her to be worried because she knew that the Crown Princess Consort must stand by Li Yun's side on that day.

Li Nan felt satisfied after seeing Quin Quin smile. He was glad that he met Li Yun for her sake. At least, that was the best he could do for her.

"Lilie, are you sure we should just sit and wait?" Zhen Zhen asked her. She was extremely worried about Xi Xhen, causing her mind to be conflicted and restless. Even though she was feeling dizzy waiting, she couldn't bear to rest. It had been more than 3 hours since the Crown Prince took Xi Xhen, and yet she was not back.

"No need to worry, Zhen Zhen. I bet she's having a good time with her hubby right now". Lilie assured her. "Feels good, I haven't had this kind of ease in a thousand years". She added, because she was feeling really relaxed at the moment.

Lilie was not worried about Xi Xhen because she knew that Xi Xhen was capable of handling any situation.

After seeing that Lilie was not bothered at all by the situation, Zhen Zhen decided to try and settle down, exactly the same way Lilie had done. "I guess I have to trust you on this one''. Zhen Zhen gave up worrying, as she was feeling too sleepy.

It was 8pm in the night.

Xi Xhen yawned deeply as soon as she woke up. Her forehead was sweating a little. She even had dark circles around her large eyes.

"What a scary nightmare". She said as she stopped lying down and sat on the bed. She had a dream, but although the visions were blurry to see clearly, she saw war and bloodshed everywhere in her dream. Magical beings were fighting and killing themselves.

'But why were they killing themselves?'. She thought.

Well, the most unsettling question was, why on Earth would she dream of supernatural magical beings who had already gone extinct? What does it have to do with her?

She remembered that the dream took her further, but then suddenly stopped. She saw a blurred vision of someone in front of her. She didn't know the reason why, but she felt her heart groan in pain as she watched him.

"I'm really sorry, and I will always love and be with you". The blurred vision of the strange guy muttered with pain in his heart, as he slowly began to fade away into darkness.

After seeing that scene, that was when Xi Xhen woke up from sleep.

"What the heck was all that nonsense?". She said out loud.

The blurred vision she saw and the voice she heard were clearly replaying inside her head over and over again. It was like the vision she saw in her dream followed her out of her dream and became a reality.

"It's nothing, Xi Xhen, it's simply a silly nightmare". She sighed deeply and assured herself, as she tried to stop thinking about the dream she had.

"I seriously need a drink right now". Xi Xhen said, as she began to roll her body on the large bed. Suddenly, a strong will forced her to get up, which she did.

"Huh? Did that dude later return and remove the barrier?". She wondered. "Well, I don't honestly care about that right now. I urgently need to get rid of the annoying thoughts inside my head". She said as she massaged her temples.

During that same minute, she went out of Li Yun's room.

[Swoosh].

Li Yun teleported to his room and was surprised because he couldn't find Xi Xhen anywhere.

"How did she break my barrier?". He said in disbelief. Nobody had ever gotten out of his strong barrier. But she? His face grew dark at the thought of this.

He teleported again, since he planned to go and find his Princess Consort.

Chin Yun's room,

"You are smart, my lady". Zaya praised Chin Yun.

"Of course, I know I'm smart, Zaya. With this, I will get my revenge against that witch who had humiliated me and had also dared my authority!". Chin Yun said, and was grinning.

The practising area,

The atmosphere was dark. There were noises of crickets wailing. The light was lit on in the training area, making it easy for Xi Xhen to see.

"I feel so relaxed now". Xi Xhen said. Her body was drenched in sweat.

She went to the training centre to master her swordsmanship and whip skills. And doing that helped her a lot by getting rid of all her troublesome thoughts and the scary nightmare that she had.

"Your highness". The servant politely greeted her as she brought what Xi Xhen had ordered her a while ago.

"Your wine". She said, as she gave the black bottle to Xi Xhen.

"Thanks. You may leave now". Xi Xhen said to her after she collected the cherry wine she ordered the servant to bring for her.

"Nice". Xi Xhen's nose could already perceive the sweet smell coming from the wine, making her mouth watery. She shook and opened the bottle of wine before directing it to her mouth. In an instant, her throat began to make gulping sounds as she shoved all the wine into her mouth.

"Hmm, so refreshing". She exclaimed before she then dropped the bottle on the floor.

No drop of wine was left inside the bottle.

That same seconds later,

"Ahh, I feel uncomfortable". Xi Xhen complained as she felt a sharp pain hurting her in her chest. "Arghh!!". She couldn't withstand the pain much longer and groaned in agony. It hadn't been up to 30 seconds of her trying to withstand the pain, and she collapsed on the floor.

Earlier,

Li Yun teleported straight to his training field. He was confused about how he found Xi Xhen's location without even trying to search. He was about to go grab her when he saw her suddenly collapse on the wicked cold floor.

He quickly rushed to her as he gently lifted and carried her from the floor. "What is wrong with you?". He asked the unconscious Xi Xhen. Somehow, he didn't know why he was feeling so calm with her around him. He would keep her beside him until he found out the main reason why.

"Your highness, the imperial doctor is here". Zu wan reported from outside.

"Send him in". Li Yun ordered.

"Your highness". The elderly physician paid his respects to Li Yun after he entered the room and approached the unconscious fairy Xi Xhen.

Minutes after reading her pulse, the elderly physician then halted. His face looked terrified at the moment. Sweat beads were even starting to form on his forehead. He was afraid to report the news to Li Yun, as he was scared that Li Yun might harm him because of the news.

"Say it". The cold but yet gentle voice ordered.

"Crown Princess Consort has been poisoned!". The elderly physician announced.

"Who dares?". Li Yun's provoked voice was heard.

The elderly physician noticed the anger in Li Yun's voice, so he knelt down and pleaded for mercy.

"Start treating her now". Li Yun ordered, before teleporting out of his room.

"Young Mistress, you're truly smart. I bet she won't survive the next morning". Zaya informed Chin Yun as she combed her waist-length hair.

"Hmph. I can't wait to see her dead cold body". Chin Yun's voice wickedly said. She was extremely impatient because she couldn't endure Xi Xhen being alive. She had even prepared a white mourning dress for Xi Xhen's funeral.

Chin Yun had earlier gone ahead with executing her plan to eliminate Xi Xhen completely. The poison she collected from the sorcerer was really unpredictable. It had no colour nor even smell. So it would be very hard to even detect and find the antidote.

"Hahahaha. No one dares to mess with me and go free". The wicked voice of Chin Yun said, followed by an evil laughter.

"Huh?? where am I?". Confused, Xi Xhen asked herself in surprise. Her surroundings looked like she was in a garden. But how? Didn't she faint?

'Am I, perhaps, dead!?'. Xi Xhen gasped in disbelief. 'How can I die when I still have many things to achieve?!'

“Oh no, I can't possibly die now. I haven't done so many majestic things with my newly discovered power". She continued to complain.

"You're not dead". An enchanting voice from behind Xi Xhen announced.

"Huh??". Xi Xhen turned around only to see an Enchantress staring at her.
