On the way to the outpost, Garm reported to Darius that Paul and his men asked him for permission to harvest the forest and built an outpost in order to provide a shelter for the lumberjacks.
Garm thought Darius would be displeased by his and Paul's self conduct and acted on their own. However, Darius' response was calm and collected. He admitted that the mistake was on him.
"Apologies, I should have paid more attention to my subjects' well-being. Thank you for listening to their plea and allowing them to harvest the woods, Garm."
The young alpha wolf growled gently. "Don't fret it."
Afterward, Garm hastened the pace of the caravan by urging the horses to run from behind. By the evening, the caravan had finally seen the wooden structure of the outpost in the distance.
