The Past Lives!

Vasusena's P.O.V,

On the surface of Ashwanadi, chants of a divine syllable 'Om' can be heard, coming out from the mouth of a baby shrouded in a calm aura, looking at the sky with his pure round black pupils while lying on a basket made of wax.

"Om~"...

That child is Vasusena(me), a name bestowed to me by my father, The mighty god of Sun a.k.a. Suryadev. It means someone born with 'wealth and riches' something I would have if not for my mother abandoning me in Ashwanadi.

Therefore, this name had already lost its meaning hours after my birth.

Hey! Don't feel sorry for this one! Recently, I have understood the core of my past tragedies. From the shimmering golden texts, I came to know about my various life as a tragic child abused and killed by his relatives after his parents died or when someone killed me to obtain my riches, There was a time when I was killed cause a King didn't like my handsome face and hence executed me for this crime.

In the past Eighteen hundred lives, I had experienced the lowest of the lows that humanity had to offer. Earlier, these incidents used to induce myriads of negative emotions like Anger, Hatred, Urge to kill etc. to my inner-self. Yet, in the previous past, I lived the life of an honest child with an unnatural smile on his face, trying to influence others through his positivity.

Haha!

Hilarious right!

Nevertheless, it helped me to change in a good way. The past occurrence left me with a precious gift known as 'Wisdom', better than countless boons I could ever acquire through severe penances.

Because of that, instead of anger about the people who harmed me, All I can do is to laugh at their stupidity and Naivety. As Shri Krishna said, " You have the right to perform your prescribed duty, but you are not entitled to the fruits of action." Rather than harm, those people's actions helped me to get closer to my goal. For which I am very thankful for their harsh beatings.

Coupled with the lessons of my previous life, I had forgotten the hatred of past lives. Since the past had already gone away while the future will eventually come. Hence, We should only be concerned about our present.

In this vast Universe, I once started as 'Karna' the child of Radha and Adhiratha. Now, after wandering through the various worlds, I have arrived at the origin of this story. Additionally, Niyati has freed me from my supposed tragic destiny.

Henceforth, my only thought is to meet my parents. Even the mighty gods couldn't get the chance to relive their childhood and bask in the love of their parents, which I do. How envious would they be of my luck!

'Father, Mother, We will meet again~^_^' Thinking about our re-union, I closed my eyes again under the gaze of a little dove beside me. It's just, since Niyati had granted me freedom, I don't know whether I should look for them actively or we would meet eventually by following the previous trajectory?

.....

World's P.O.V,

When the 'Vasusena' was busy with reminiscing out his possible future, his chants were creating miracles on his path.

Everywhere his basket went through, the water would be cleaned from the contamination, the atmosphere would turn serene while both the hunters and the prey would stop their game of survival and return to their homes with deep devotion in their eyes.

The flowers would bloom on the riverside, ignoring the fact that its almost night.

These changes brought out the hidden beauty and purity of the World contaminated by the arrival of Dvapara Yuga. As the 'Kalyuga' (The Age of Darkness) came near, the influence of divine beings would gradually weaken causing the living to be filled with negative thoughts and desires. Eventually they would become the puppet of 'Kalyuga'.

Here, Vasusena's chants were eliminating the impurities of Kalyuga. Signifying that only a pure, devoted, and clean heart can save the world from Annihilation either by Kalyuga, Lord Shiva or by Lord Narayan's incarnation 'Kalki'(कल्कि).

Simultaneously, what impact will these small 'incidents' have on the world remain unknown. Before that It should be considered whether the world will even notice these insignificant changes.

Even if it did, It will not have any effect on Vasusena, an existence free from the shackles of Niyati. This boon might be belittled by masses only to be slapped again and again due to their short-sightedness.

For the ignorant peoples, here's a brief explanation;

{Niyati/Fate: It defines certain events for both living and non-living. From birth to death, High and low, Up and downs, Grief and happiness etc. are predestined by Niyati. It is a guiding force taking us to a certain incident like getting first rank in college, saving some in need or falling in love etc.

Divination/ Akashwani: It is the path chosen by us or others to reach our pre-destined Niyati. They will change according to our choices. Sometimes affecting the order by which we will complete our destiny.

Conclusion: We can indeed change our own Niyati through our actions but we can never escape from its shackles. If it's someone's fate to be stabbed by a knife, they will be stabbed even after trying to avoid it countless times.

However, this fate didn't define us to die from this stab. It's sure we will be stabbed but the consequence of this action can be minimized.

Hence, instead of avoiding it, we can take it head-on and direct it to a less vital organ or we can use some protection. It is the only way one we can change in a positive way.

On the other hand, If it's someone's fate to die, we can change the way he will be sent to heaven/hell or at most, we can delay it a little. As for overturning this fate? heh, Not even Trimurties can change Niyati without a price.

Objectively speaking, Vasusena's freedom from shackles of fate has granted him to be potentially immortal as his death isn't determined. Or, he could be killed by any passerby Deity only if he/she could ignore the rage of Suryadev and Karna's Armor & Earring.}
