The five girls had also heard that man's nasty comments. They slowly turned their heads to look at him. Their eyes glowed as they shot death glares in his direction. The man had gone back to his food after shooting off his mouth but he suddenly felt a chill down his spine. He turned his head to see five women looming over him.
"Wh.. what do you guys want?" He became a little scared.
"We? Nothing. Just a little chat." Diya smiled in her ever-gentle manner.
"Talk?" He looked at them doubtfully.
"Yes, uncle. We saw you from our table and instantly took a liking to you. You seem to be very interesting. Wouldn't you talk to us at all?" Torsha made a cute face and pouted.
"A..ah, me? Hehe, y..you found me interesting? Haha, oh, wow, I can't believe it..." He mumbled blushing slightly.
"Excuse me, wouldn't you invite us to sit and talk? Seeing how dressed up you are and that you can afford dining here, I thought you would at least have basic manners. Guess I was wrong." Arohi sounded a little offended.
"Hm? Oh, I'm so sorry. Please forgive my ignorance. I was so stunned when so many beautiful ladies came to speak to me. Please sir here. Hehe."
He pulled a chair and smiled at Torsha shyly. She touched her cheeks and giggled before winking at him and taking the chair beside it.
Meanwhile, Komolika stood before the man and looked down at him. Seeing the menacing look on her face he quickly slipped to his seat.
After they were all seated Diya spoke "What did you say just now? That he is disgusting for wearing a skirt?"
She pointed her finger at Nitish who was looking at them with a nervous look.
"And many people here also agreed with you."
Her voice was pretty loud so everyone else heard it too. They all looked over to her. Still maintaining that gentle smile she continued.
"So, he's disgusting for wearing a skirt but you, a fifty-five years old man isn't for looking at a girl three decades younger than you with lustful eyes? That too at her chest and every-inappropriate-where else?"
Gasps were heard everywhere. The very people who were commenting on Nitish's dressing style were now cursing the man for being a creep and pervert.
"Wh.. what are you trying to say? Why're you plastering false accusations on me?" The man slammed the table.
"False accusations? Uncle, how can you say that? Why would we falsely accuse you of something you didn't do?" Torsha pretended to gasp in surprise.
Saying that she glanced at Arohi who used the little projector in her phone to display a video on the wall. As it was taken from a very close distance everyone could see the man's expression every time he looked at Torsha and how his eyes kept darting towards her chest.
"Oh my goodness! He's such a creep."
"Someone throw him out of here!"
"Oh no I don't want to stay anywhere near him. Let's get out of here right now."
As the commotion among everyone grew, a sudden deafening screeching sound made all the chattering stop. Seeing the room become silent Arundhati placed the fork and glass in her hand on the table.
"Thanks for your attention. We can now go to the next part of it." Her crisp nonchalant voice rang out.
She acted like it was not just her who scratched the fork on the glass to make everyone almost go deaf.
"So, to everyone present who was just hurling insults at a stranger based on another stranger's words over a ridiculously strange topic, the price of all of each and every one of your clothes combined wouldn't even be enough to afford just that skirt of his. Go yapping about his shamelessness when you can actually afford it."
"And you, waste of oxygen and space," She pointed at a man who looked to be around their age.
"Before talking about a stranger's guts to behave in such a disgusting manner in public, have the guts to tell your girlfriend beside you that you're cheating on her with the lady in front of you right under the table you're sitting at, with legs and hands intertwined."
As soon as she said this the woman whom she called the girlfriend looked under the table and saw her boyfriend and his friend holding hands and touching each other's feet. The man was so shocked when Arundhati suddenly called him out that he failed to react in time. The other woman was trying to pull her hand away but his grip was so tight that she could do nothing.
Letting the couple of former couple quarrel among themselves Arundhati turned to the others "If anyone else still feels that it's unmanly for a man to wear women's clothing, well I can't do anything if your manliness is the very thing you all hate to associate manliness with, fragile, weak and delicate. "
"Hmph, you're just jealous that he's slaying the clothes that weren't meant for him. You look ridiculously in those meant for you anyway, how'd you even have the calibre to wear those that aren't?" Komolika snorted.
"Hey guys, that's enough. Let's go eat." Nitish came over and pulled them in a joint hug.
"Kiddo, in the future if anyone ruins your appetite with such nasty words just break their teeth so that they can't even eat even if they have an appetite." Komolika flexed her fist at everyone.
She was already about six feet tall and had a muscular body that looked especially intimidating when flexed. No one dared to utter a word and buried their faces in their plates.
The rest of the meal went peacefully. From the restaurant, they went to the cinema and from there to the club where the five cousins accompanied their little brother before parting ways. Arundhati went to the library and Komolika to the arcade with Arohi while Diya, Torsha and Nitish stayed at the club.
