Ever since she got a second chance after her death in the hands of black beard, Hancock has been persuing strength whenever she is not daydreaming about Luffy or doing anything important.
After she ate mero mero no mi again, she faced a complicated situation.
In her previous life she never thought about combining her devil fruit powers with her haki. It was simply impossible for her. Mero mero no mi didn't have any physical attack except for slave arrow. On top of that it was also intangible in it's normal form. The effect of Mero Mero no mi depended on the target's emotions. So previous there was simply no way for Hancock to implement haki to her attacks to increase their power.
But after hearing Gloriosa's explanation about how Shiki's attack worked gave Hancock an idea.
According to Gloriosa, achieving the same feat as golden lion needed extreme conditions like deadly battles. But Hancock wanted no risk while rescuing her sister. Shiki is strong. But as he has shown, he was not completely immune to her beauty like Luffy. That means there is a fair chance for Hancock's success if she could perfectly create the attack she was thinking about.
Conqueror's haki depended upon a person's will. The will of a person is strong, then his/her haki will be strong. Knocking out people with conqueror's haki depended on the will power of the user. If someone's will power is weak, then they will succumb to the pressure of the king and collapse. But people with strong will power will be able to with stand the conqueror's haki.
Hancock wanted to combine her conqueror's haki with her ability to charm people. But that's where she faced her first obstacle. The power of Mero Mero no mi depended on her beauty. While she believed that it was the only way to bring out the full potential of the fruit but turning people into stone is something that depended on the people themselves. If they got charmed by Hancock's beauty, then they will turn into stone statues coming upon contact with her powers.
Because it was a completely new concept, Hancock couldn't think of where to begin.
There was still enough time for her to experiment on it. Although she didn't like using her people as training dummies, but it was necessary. And for this upcoming training she has a perfect training dummy *cough* partner in mind.

"Gloriosa !" Hancock slammed open the navigation room where she was sensing Gloriosa along with Tia.
"I want to train. And I need your help." Hancock went straight to the point
Gloriosa seeing the serious face of Hancock, got up from her seat.
"Alright princess. It seems that you're ready to train. But I don't think this ship will be enough for your training." Gloriosa commented.
"Don't worry about it. I was just thinking about experimenting with my powers a little bit. And I want you as a training dummy I mean a training partner.
So don't ask questions and come with me." Hancock left to the deck of the ship.

Gloriosa has turned into a stone statue.
After 10 days of hard work Hancock finally managed to achieve her goal. She managed to combine both conqueror's haki and the power of her Mero Mero no mi together.
"Let's call it the colour of the supreme queen !"
This attack is exactly like the colour of the supreme king. Instead of forcing one's will upon others, Hancock was applying her charm towards others along with her devil fruit power. That means it didn't matter if the person managed to negate the power of her devil fruit using haki or will power. As long as the person felt lust towards her, they will turn into stone statues. The petrification effect didn't stop when gloriosa used haki to cancel out her fruit's power.
Even with conqueror's haki, Hancock didn't think that anyone will be able to survive her attack.
Now she didn't have the users of conqueror's haki on board. So the only one who could be used as her test dummy is the golden lion Shiki.
Hancock used her power to turn back Gloriosa.
"Tia, how many days it will take us to reach Grado island ?" Hancock asked Tia who has came out from the navigation room after seeing the effect on Gloriosa.
Silver jumped down from the crow's nest.
Slowly hearing Hancock's loud voice, everyone came out of there room.
"If there is no unpredictable weather change, then I guess we will be able to reach there before sunrise." Tia answered Hancock.
"Alright then. Let's discuss about our plan."
"As I was saying our top priority should be saving Sandersonia.
But we have to be careful because we don't know what is Shiki planning exactly.
As per as I can tell you knowing his personality he will create multiple plans in order to convince you to join him. But he don't know about your increase in strength and new attack. It can be helpful against Shiki." Gloriosa said to everyone. She wasn't particularly happy because Hancock used her for practice. But it was her captains order. And as a proud warrior, Gloriosa refused to back down when she has accepted Hancock as her new captain.
"What about his subordinates ?" Silver asked.
"I don't know about his subordinate very much. I don't know how many powerful subordinates he has gathered so far after escaping from impel down. So you have to be careful about that. Actually now that I think about it, I don't have any inside information regarding Shiki.
*sigh* it won't be an easy fight." Gloriosa sighed.
"I will agree with Shiki's demands. Once I ensure Sandersonia's safety, we will fight. We will fight to kill. No one will show them any mercy." Hancock said seriously. No one said against her. Even Lami was deadly serious.
Shiki won't know what hit him.
