Chapter 27

The crisp morning air was filled with the sounds of yawning students making their way across campus, armed with coffee and dreams of staying awake through another Monday lecture series.

Massive sandstone buildings towered overhead, bearing the crests and moldings of centuries past. Within lay classrooms as spacious as ballrooms, lined with plush leather seating proclaiming that no bottom would grow sore here.

At the center of it all stood the library - a veritable palace of knowledge, with domed ceilings soaring stories above rows of polished oak and marble. Young scholars filtered in carrying a bewildering array of accessories - designer bags, luxury laptops, even the occasional pony embellished Moleskine.
