On the way to Professor Bennett’s office, I felt as if I was going to faint again. Half due to my pounding my heart which was filled with excitement to spend time with him alone, and half was due to complete and utter dread.


Although, the closer we were to his office, the more dreadful it was. 


As usual, Professor Bennett didn’t speak during the walk. We were next to each other instead of him being a few steps in front of me. I started out following him but he slowed so that we were side by side. I was surprised by this but was able to resist the urge to sneak a peek up at his face. I’d rather not know what kind of expression he wore at the moment. I honestly didn’t need the extra anxiety.
