How to Achieve a Perfect Ending...

After an hour's journey, Cynthia and her group successfully arrived at Peaceville Prison. Before long, the prison gates opened, and a slender figure slowly walked out.

The woman appeared to be around forty years old, but her face lacked the charm that people of her age usually have. Her whole being exuded a sense of loneliness and desolation, like a candle burning out. Her body slightly hunched, facing the outside world, with a hint of confusion on her face.

"Mom!" Chelsa quickly rushed forward, tightly embracing her.

Mrs. Lindsay was stunned, her nose tinged with a sour feeling. She reached out to gently stroke Chelsa's back. "Mom is here."

Cynthia and the others didn't rush forward but stood quietly in front of the car, watching the mother and daughter reunite. Lily pushed up her sunglasses and suppressed the bitterness in her eyes, looking away. "How can we achieve a perfect ending worthy of the hardships they've endured in the first half of their lives?"
