It's Punishment, but Also Protection

Cynthia chuckled, a hint of mockery in her eyes. "What value does an abandoned pawn have that would justify risking the entire Cartman family?"

Old Mr. Cartman had made his stance clear when he left. Since he chose to abandon Mindy, how could they risk the future of the entire family to protect her?

Upon hearing this, Mindy staggered, almost falling to the ground. Indeed, now that Cartman family had cast her aside, why would they take the risk of offending Quinn to protect her?

Cynthia admired Mindy's lifeless appearance for a moment and coldly said, "Miss Cartman has enough spirit and courage to take responsibility for her own words! This clothing needs to come off!"

With that, she supported Old Mr. Quinn and turned to leave. From the beginning, Cynthia hadn't intended to make Mindy undress; she was waiting for Old Mr. Quinn to appear at the right time. This way, Quinn would establish his authority in public, and at the same time, Cartman family would owe the Quinns a favor.
