The Dogged Pursuit of a Man

Wen Yao found Lu Yancheng's behavior quite peculiar. At that moment, the little puppy in her arms whimpered softly. She lowered her gaze to see the tiny creature trembling.

"It's very cold," Lu Yancheng's voice, tinged with an unusual depth, echoed.

In the next moment, he directly took the coat draped over Wen Yao and wrapped it around the shivering puppy. Then, with a satisfied smirk, he quirked up his lips. "Now it won't be cold."

Wen Yao stared wide-eyed at him. "Lu Yancheng, you scoundrel! That's Brother Shen Jin's coat!"

Without hesitation, he proceeded to remove his own suit jacket. Wen Yao attempted to step back hurriedly, but he caught her waist, expertly pulling her back under the umbrella. He draped his suit jacket over her, effortlessly ensuring she stayed dry beneath the umbrella, shielded from the rain.

Wen Yao couldn't quite fathom his actions. "Mr. Lu, do you have some business with me? We're divorced, you know."
