Matters Between My Sister and Me

Huo Qingqu opened his phone to reveal a photograph and placed it on the table. "Do you recognize the person in this photo?"

The image displayed showed Gu Pianpian and the young man known as "Little Puppy" strolling together on the street.

"Isn't that Gu Pianpian? Well, Mr. Huo, we certainly know her," Zhou Hairong replied with a hint of flattery in her smile, deliberately omitting any mention of the presence of "Little Puppy" beside Gu Pianpian. She was well aware that the person in the photo was her own son, Gu Xizhou.

Her reasons for concealing the truth were twofold. Firstly, she didn't want to whitewash Gu Pianpian's reputation for Huo Qingqu, and secondly, she was concerned about potential trouble for Gu Xizhou.

However, to her surprise, before Huo Qingqu could speak, Gu Xizhou chimed in, "The people in the photo are my sister and me. Is there anything else you'd like to ask, Mr. Huo?"
