Sibling Quarrel

In the end, Wanwan couldn’t escape Xia Zhihuai’s clutches and was carried to the bed.

She knelt on the bedsheet, tightly gripping her pillow. “I want to go back to my room and sleep.”

Xia Zhihuai sat cross-legged on the bed, employing a conciliatory approach. “How about playing a game of Snakes and Ladders?”

Wanwan glanced at him as he took out the game from the drawer, her eyelids fluttering hesitantly.

“If we sleep at night, you can’t kick me.”

Hugging her pillow, Wanwan pouted, her face displaying a touch of cuteness.

Xia Zhihuai smiled, his eyes narrowed. “If you don’t sleep with your feet against me, I probably won’t kick you.”

Wanwan wasn’t exactly well-behaved when sleeping; she could roll from one end of the bed to the other.

There were times when she would run to his room to wake him up, only to end up sleeping together again. Almost every time they woke up, Wanwan would be clinging to his feet, sleeping like a little pig in various challenging positions.
