Reconciliation

The siblings started arguing early in the morning and continued until they sat at the dining table. Little Baozi’s face was still puffed up with anger.

Xia Zhihuai held a small steamed bun and provocatively glanced at Wanwan, then took a big bite.

Wanwan, with a fierce look in her eyes, held her small bowl and scooped a spoonful of pickles, mixing it into her rice before taking a bite.

Their gazes met, creating an inexplicable tension filled with hostility.

Huang Xikong calmly enjoyed the food in front of him and cleared his throat. “The production team will be here soon. Do you both plan to appear on camera today with such animosity?”

“Xia Zhihuai, are you so childish that you bully a three-year-old?” Wanwan retorted.

Xia Zhihuai sneered, “Where did I bully her? Clearly, she threw a tantrum for no reason. If anyone is childish, it’s her.”

Wanwan slammed the steamed bun on the table, gripping it tightly. “You’re the childish one, the most childish!”
