The Final round begins...

He quickly withdrew his hand and looked at it in horror. He saw blood dripping from his fingers, and he felt a burning sensation in his palm.

"Wow, this is extremely difficult," Logan sighed.

He realized that the sixth level of the skill was beyond his current comprehension. He needed to have a deeper understanding of the essence of vibration, and how it related to his own essence.

He sat down in a lotus position and stared at the vibrating jade slip in the air. He tried to follow its movement, and soon his body started to fluctuate as well, fading at times and, at other times becoming solid.

He felt a strange sensation as if he was merging with the skill. He vomited a mouthful of blood. He felt dizzy and nauseous, but he did not give up. He continued to observe and imitate the skill, hoping to find a breakthrough.

Logan persisted in his attempt to unravel the mysteries of the jade slip. He soon started to feel a connection, a resonance between his essence and the skill. He felt like at that moment, if he meditated harder, he would comprehend the secrets of the skill. But he was interrupted when he heard a loud knock on the door.

Frowning, he deactivated the time bubble from the profound time stone and went to check who it was. He opened the door and saw Jason standing there, panting slightly.

"Dude, have you finally forfeited your match with Mark?" Jason asked with a playful smile on his face.

"Huh?" Logan had a confused expression. He had lost track of time in the time bubble, and he did not know how long he had been there.

"The tournament has almost started. I thought you weren't coming again," Jason said, almost shouting. He grabbed Logan's arm and dragged him out of the room.

"What?" Logan said, still in a daze. He quickly ran after Jason had pulled him, hoping that he was not too late.

"Can't you wait for me, dude? I came all the way here to inform you," Jason said, as they ran towards the arena. He looked at Logan's face and noticed that he looked pale and weak. He wondered what he had been doing in his room, and if he was ready to fight against the beast known as Mark.

As they reached the arena, they heard their names being announced over the loudspeakers. Group A and Group B, who had been sorted according to their ranks from the previous day, were to face each other in the final round of the tournament.

The person ranked first from Group A, Mark, was to face the one ranked first from Group B, Logan. The person ranked second from Group A was to face the person ranked second from Group B, and so on.

"Your performances in this last round of the tournament will be judged by us elders, as we have always done. Do well to showcase your incredible skills and do your best to win," said the first elder as he stood up to give a speech. He was clad in a lush green robe that contrasted with his white beard. His gaze swept over all the final contestants for the tournament, who were standing in two rows on opposite sides of the arena.

"The matches may begin. Those ranked fifth from both Group A and Group B, please step forward," said the first elder as he gestured with his hand toward the ring in the centre of the arena.

Zach, a young man with brown hair and green eyes, stepped forward from Group A. He was holding a staff that had a crystal at its tip. From Group B, a guy wielding a sword stepped forward as well. He had blond hair and blue eyes, and his sword had a peculiar feature: it could split into multiple blades that were connected by thin wires. Their eyes met, and they could sense each other's fighting spirit.

They stepped onto the stage, and as they took out their weapons and faced each other, they cupped their hands and bowed, as a show of respect to each other.

The match started off with the guy who wielded the sword attacking Zach with his lightning-fast speed. He slashed forward, and his sword quickly multiplied into a dozen blades that flew toward Zach from different angles. Zach tried to decipher which one of the blades was the real one, but he didn't have time to ponder on such details. He released a wide-range elemental attack, creating a blast of wind and water, that pushed back the blades. He then rapidly flipped backwards, putting some distance between himself and his opponent. He gathered the essence of nature within him and felt a surge of power. He unleashed an attack of his own, sending a beam of light toward the guy with the sword.

The match continued with Zach and the guy with the sword battling it out, neither side having the upper hand. They exchanged blows, dodged attacks, and countered each other's moves. The crowd was cheering and gasping, as they witnessed the spectacular display of skills and abilities. The elders were watching with keen interest, as they evaluated the contestants' strengths and weaknesses.

The guy with the sword soon started showing signs of exhaustion, as his sword became heavier and his movements became slower.

Zach noticed this and decided to capitalize on the opportunity given to him and take the win for himself. He waited for the right moment, and then he aimed his staff at the guy's chest and fired a powerful blast of energy that knocked him off his feet and sent him flying out of the ring.

The match concluded, and Zach was declared the winner. He raised his staff in triumph and then bowed to his opponent, who was being helped up by the medical staff. He then walked back to his group and received congratulations from his teammates.
