"Mark, Logan, you may come to the ring," the first elder announced.
The arena that was previously buzzing with noise had quietened, as they looked with anticipation for the grand match about to unfold. They knew that this match would be the most exciting and the most important one.
Logan stood up from his seat, as he walked to the stage. Unlike the others that jumped onto the stage, he walked calmly and steadily. He wanted to show his respect and confidence to his opponent and also take in the fresh air.
Mark did the same, as he stared at Logan while slowly walking to the stage. He wanted to show his indifference towards the match about to unfold.
. They walked slowly, as not even a pin drop of noise could be heard. Suspense filled the stage, as both Logan and Mark seemed to be walking in slow motion.
They finally reached the stage, as the referee stretched his hand towards Logan. "Are you ready?" he asked, as Logan nodded lightly. Resolve showed in his eyes. 'time to show him what I'm made of, mark only you stand between me and my resources.
"Are you ready?" the referee asked Mark. Mark turned to look at a faraway place from the arena. His gaze was still cold and indifferent. But looking at that distance, his gaze seemed to soften.
Following his gaze, the crowd saw a figure standing on the air. He was clad in yellowish brown, as his clothes fluttered in the wind. His appearance was similar to Mark he looked like the older version of Mark. He had the same black hair and green eyes, and the same handsome face.
He had a calm and dignified expression, and he looked at Mark with a gentle smile…
…
__ The previous night... It was dark and two figures stood outside, under the starry sky. Looking closely, one would recognize the first figure as Mark. He was wearing a black cloak and a hood, hiding his face and his identity. He was holding a spear in his hand he had just finished training, at his finger a spatial ring could be seen.
"I will defeat him, brother," said Mark firmly, as he looked at the second figure. He was referring to Logan, the dark horse that seemed to be full of surprises, and his opponent for the final match.
"This Logan cannot be measured with common sense, you won't be able to defeat him," said Mark's brother. He was wearing a yellowish-brown robe.
"But why do you say so, brother? Despite me having a superpower, or do you think he too has a superpower?" asked Mark curiously, he was curious as to how someone without a superpower could defeat someone with a super power.
"There's something about him, I can't quite place my finger on it, but you should not underestimate him. Be extremely careful," said Mark's brother. He had a solemn expression, as he spoke with a hint of concern and warning.
He had seen Logan's matches, and he had sensed something unusual and mysterious about him. He had a feeling that Logan was hiding something and that he was more than he seemed. Mark nodded and then bowed to his brother.
He thanked him for his advice and then said goodbye. He then jumped off to the ground from the building where they stayed and dashed away with his wind element.
"Match begin," announced the referee.
Logan took out his sword, and Mark did the same, taking out his spear. Both fighters pointed their weapons at each other, anticipating victory. Logan, the underdog, and Mark, the champion.
The final match was finally beginning and the crowd cheered loudly in anticipation. They knew that they were about to witness a match that would be remembered for generations.

"Flame slash!" Logan lunged forward towards Mark with his sword, unleashing a fiery arc of energy.
Bang!
Mark parried the attack with his spear, sparks flying from the clash of metal. He quickly counterattacked, swinging his spear with a graceful motion. "Sun beam," muttered Mark in a low voice, as a beam of light shot out from the tip of his spear.
Logan dodged to the side, barely avoiding the scorching ray. He felt the heat singe his hair and skin, and he knew he couldn't afford to be hit by that attack. ___
"Space slash!" Mark shouted as he slashed forward with his spear. Logan saw no visible sign of the attack, but his instincts felt a foreboding sensation from Mark's movement.
He dodged backwards rapidly, putting some distance between them. A minuscule amount of the attack grazed him, and he felt a portion of his cloth disappear, exposing his bare flesh. He was shocked.
'Wow, what sort of attack was that?' he wondered.
"Wow, the person ranked no. 1 is really strong," a voice from the crowd exclaimed.
"This is what a champion feels like," another voice praised.
"I don't think Logan can win, at least he tried, coming this far." a third voice sighed.
The crowd was stunned, but also buzzing with excitement as they cheered Mark on. Some others cheered for Logan, but they were an extremely small number of people.
Mark continued on with a look of indifference written all over his face, as he slashed his spear again, using the space slash once more. He was confident in his ability to control space but he still didn't underestimate the underdog known as Logan.
Logan had already experienced the ferocity of the attack first hand, so he didn't need anyone to tell him to be careful. He dodged rapidly to the side, performing multiple side flips.
He looked for an opening to strike back, but Mark wouldn't let him. "Sun beam slash," Mark attacked, switching to his light element. After listening to his brother's advice the previous day, Mark didn't dare underestimate his opponent. He knew Logan had a hidden ace up his sleeve, and he wanted to finish the fight quickly.
Mark condensed his light element sun beam attack into a thin line of light, as he slashed forward. The attack was faster and sharper than before, cutting through the air with a whistling sound.
