Misha's Suspicion

Chapter 233 - Misha's Suspicion

Recruit a Supporter.

This was the idea that came to Mahiro yesterday.

As he killed more and more monsters, Mahiro also found a troublesome issue: the process of collecting magic stones and drop items.

It was not only tedious but also time-consuming.

Previously, the number of monsters he killed wasn't too high, so he could manage.

However, today or at the latest tomorrow, Mahiro planned to start killing monsters on a large scale.

At that time, the magic stones would undoubtedly reach an unimaginable amount.

He didn't want to waste time picking them up.

Wouldn't it be nice to find a supporter to handle this automatically?

"A supporter?" Eina pondered for a moment and said, "Mahiro, if you're in this situation, I suggest it might be better for you to join a team."

Eina was well aware of the Hestia Familia's situation, as she had witnessed its establishment.

Typically, members of new Familias either adventured solo or joined mixed Familia teams.

Clearly, Mahiro was a solo adventurer.

"A team? I'm afraid an ordinary team wouldn't be able to keep up with my progress," Mahiro said with a shrug.

The idea of joining a team had crossed Mahiro's mind.

Though Mahiro wasn't sure whether the number of monsters killed could be shared among team members.

Moreover, in Highschool of the Dead, there were situations where completing zombie-killing quests didn't require personally killing every zombie.

However, this was just speculation.

He wasn't certain if it would work the same way here.

Besides, Mahiro preferred freedom.

Forming a team often came with complications.

"Can't keep up?" Eina nodded. "It's true that there should be a gap between Level 1 teams and you."

"I remember there are one or two teams of Level 2 adventurers still recruiting. If you're interested, I can help you contact them."

"Level 2 adventurers probably won't be able to keep up with my progress either," Mahiro said helplessly.

"Level 2 can't keep up?" Eina was puzzled.

Eina only had a vague understanding of Mahiro's strength.

When she first met him, she had noticed something special about him.

Subconsciously, she felt that Mahiro was far stronger than ordinary rookie.

"Mahiro, what floor have you reached now?" Eina asked.

Teams of Level 2 adventurers were typically capable of exploring floors above the 17th, which were relatively safe.

If even such teams couldn't keep up with Mahiro's progress, Eina was skeptical.

However, she also believed Mahiro wouldn't lie to her.

"I reached the 22nd floor yesterday," Mahiro replied truthfully.

"The 22nd floor?!" Hearing this, Eina was stunned.

She looked at Mahiro, and after he nodded in confirmation, she couldn't help but exclaim.

For a moment, the entire Guild's attention turned toward Eina.

Mahiro: "..."

"Sorry," Eina said, realizing she had caused a scene.

She forced a dry smile and apologized to everyone.

"Really, the 22nd floor?" Eina was already convinced but couldn't help asking again.

This was incredible.

A rookie, and a solo one at that, had broken through to the 22nd floor.

If someone else said it, they'd likely be laughed at as a fool.

"It is indeed the 22nd floor," Mahiro confirmed.

"Mahiro, I remember you received your Falna recently."

"How on earth did you break through to the 22nd floor so quickly? That's extremely dangerous!" Eina took a deep breath and asked.

The 22nd floor was deep into the Dungeon, an area most level 1 adventurers couldn't even reached.

"I was on the 17th floor the first day, and then the next day I reached the 22nd floor," Mahiro replied casually.

"That's not what I meant..." Eina rubbed her forehead helplessly.

What did it mean to be on the 17th floor one day and the 22nd floor the next?

Even if he skipped the details, it wasn't supposed to be that simple.

"Hey, handsome, you're really good at glossing over things," Misha, who had been listening curiously, couldn't help but interject.

She then looked at Eina with a teasing expression. "Also, Eina, you actually believed him? I guess it's true what they say—women in love lose all sense of reason."

"W-what love?!" Eina stammered, her face turning red.

She quickly looked at Mahiro and explained, "My colleague just likes to joke. Don't mind her."

"It's fine," Mahiro said with a smile. He gave Eina a thoughtful look but quickly averted his gaze, muttering, "In love?"

Eina immediately looked away, pretending to laugh nonchalantly.

She then glared at Misha and said, "Focus on your work! Stop eavesdropping on my conversations!"

"Eina's too serious," Misha pouted, unbothered.

She was used to bantering with Eina.

Still, she couldn't help but add, "But the topic you two are discussing is just too strange."

Misha turned to Mahiro. "The 22nd floor? That's a dangerous area in the middle floors."

"Let's not even talk about whether you have the strength to reach it."

"According to Guild regulations, rookies are prohibited from entering such floors."

Death rate was relatively high in dungeon.

To prevent unnecessary deaths, the Guild imposed restrictions on the floors adventurers could explore.

Of course, these restrictions were more like guidelines to help adventurers understand their safe limits.

Whether adventurers followed them or not was up to them.
