9. SAVE THE QUEEN

Walking alone to the sea coast she saw waves splashing onto the big brick wall, her sitting spot. Suddenly, she heard the deep, hollow and scary sound of humming. Her heart beat rose making her take a step back. Fisting her silk gown tightly in her grip she walked firmly.

"I -i totally made it up. It was my hallucination, ofcourse. It have to be.

I come here every sunday. And I don't hear it, it's my first time. And I am totally sure its my hallucination" she assured herself taking steps back continuously.

For the first time in her life ocean scared her. She felt deeply terrified seeing the dark waves lulling towards the beach afar. Sounds of waves washing over her.

Blowing out a deep breath she tried to focus on her breathing as she felt more terrified by the passing time and her hands even starting shaking. She heard someone's footsteps approaching her but she didn't dared to even look up, as she was more busy in calming herself. She knew it was Denzel. It have to be.

Her fingers raised as she untied her masquerade and let it fall on the ground. Her wide eyes staring around her. Cautiously she stepped nearer to the edge of the sea lane.

Denzel's eyes widened. Anger seeping into his bones as he reminisced every memory of the few moments. She wasn't any stranger dancing with him. She was Aerwyna.

A sly smiled slashing into his cheekbones looking at her in the most vulnerable stage.

He remembered how he felt regret coiling around his heart and he blamed her for it.

Nearing her,

"You should be in that phase, you should suffer. Because of you I felt nothing but feelings for the first time, and you should be held accountable for it." He murmured gritting his teeth as anger rose in his veins.

Suddenly, her deep ocean blue eyes shined bright and she walked towards the edge of the sea lane with confident. Her confident stride made his heart twist.

His curiosity kicked in and he followed her, to see what she was going to do?

Dark clouds above their heads rumbled. Thundering voices making me people pack up their stuff and live. Rain on the sea costs were always dangerous.

Their steps synced in as both of them reached the edge.

Her feet turning around. Her hands no more gripping her gown. Her shining eyes bewitching his steps and calling him near.

Walking nearer and more nearer, he lost control over his senses. Hands stuffed into his pant's pockets as he strode towards her. Eyes fixated over her rigid form.

Cold wind brushed over their frames making her hairs and silk gown dance with the wind.

His hand curled around her waist. Her coldness brought his senses. Back. Her eyes weren't ocean blue anymore, they were electric blue. Like charged with energy. Eyebrows furrowed as she ruffled his hairs.

"Aer-"

"Shush." Shushing him, she curled fingers around his masquerade, loosening it.

A smile crooked across her lips, as she gripped her neck. Her lose hold tightening with each passing seconds. Their breaths mingling.

His eyes widened as he struggled to breath, groaning, he tried to call her name. But, not getting any oxygen to breath, he tried to fight against her hold.

Curling his fingers around her grip, he tried to breath with his mouth, grunting in pain.

Her hold tightened more making his neck feel tightened and choked. Fear ran into his spine as he pushed her harder. But sue didn't budge away. Panic ran across his mind.

He was going to push her harder, but her eyes stopped him, something snapped in her eyes.

They were looking scarier and darker than before and it matched the dark blue waves thrashing across the wall. He felt terrified under her power before he can get himself lost in her eyes, her tightening grip brought him back from his thoughts and he pushed her hard making her leave his neck and stumble on the concrete.

Her feet stumbled as lost control over the hold and slipped from the edge.

Denzel's heart beating in his throat and blood rushing into his ears as he saw her falling. He panicked and yelled her name gaining people's attention, coughing followed out with her name.

But she was already deep into the water. Water engulfing her gown clad frame. Her eyes open as she saw Denzel's form leaning from the edge. His lips were moving but she couldn't comprehend what was he saying.

Her eyes fluttered as she began losing senses over her body.

A skinny hand clawing his way out of the deep, curling around her waist and dragging Aerwyna into the deep sea. Thrashing waves calming down as the clouds rumbled again.

Before he can do anything he saw he her body falling into the sea and breaking the matter, the water splashed high from her fall. He panicked as he saw the water taking her body in, and going deep. He sat there with a panicked heartbeat and breathing. His heavy pants following with coughs.

This shouldn't have happened. Tears burned into his eyes as the scene replayed in his mind. He was there to kill her but not like this. Like this. His fingers shook violently as adrenaline pumped into his veins.

His fingers found his black locks. Fisting them, he snapped shut his eyes. This should have never happened. A whimper escaped from his lips as he heard various whispers ran across the environment.

People surrounded him. Some leaning over the sea lane trying to locate the girl's body, some murmuring already flared up rumours.

His head spinning under the heavy night as he stood up. Fumbling with his steps he walked out of the crowd.

Huge men in suits and an ear piece surrounded him. Securing his frame from the wild crowd and their assumptions.

"This way sir, please." Another guard guided him into the car making the leather scented car overpower his brain. He felt nauseous creeping into his guts. Liquid filled in his mouth and his eyes widened as he knew what was going to come next. His head jerked up as he gagged.

He threw up. His guards already taking actions. Having two water bottles and towels in their hands, they circled around him. The one standing near to him patting his back.
