Annabeth pov

I woke today very distrubed and uneasy at all; cause all through the night I was twisting and turning with the text which kept playing on my head, I woke up very early as a result and went to the kitchen to fix myself breakfast coupled with a hot coffee to easy my stress and worries, after which I showered and left for work earlier than not while getting to the bus station I saw a few people who just like me arrived early. I sat and waited for the bus to arrive even if my mind kept playing over last night's incident; I mean who could that person be I mean I have a ouch it could be the gangster boss personal which did it but who and how close are they to me, while lost in my thoughts a guy approach me and sat close to me and started talking which I was never listening too, he tapped my shoulder which made me turned towards him and he stared at me while smiling at something which I didn't get. I stood up apologized and started moving towards the bus which just arrived; all through the ride I was not myself if not for the bus rider who knew my stop I would have missed it, so I got down and waved goodbye at him which he gave me that smile which says ** keep your thoughts together ** I guess and I walked into the hospital and towards my desk, reaching there I saw some material which needed to be taken to the lab which showed I was late and I gather my thoughts and took the material whilst heading for the lab.

I ran the samples given to me for testing and organized my result and prepared them to show to my supervisor, well the doctor who gave me the work was said to be a good and nice man who is dedicated to his work and also ensuring the participation of all team in medical department; and I also heard he specifically gave me this work which showed he doesn't have good review of me I mean I did come late though when work assignment was being given, soon I finished my work and I had to leave with my result in hand so I went out in search of his office. Which I did found not too far from the lab and I knocked at the door which he gave me his consent and I walked in, I greeted him after which I showed him my work which he took from my hands and went through them; I started looking around the office and I must say it was nice very spacious and well deserved of him, so I didn't know when I started staring at him like damn he was good looking too with dark hair an handsome face thin lips and a well build body. He raised his eyes and looked at me which took me by surprise and Iooked away while he said

** next time be early for work ** I nodded at his words and took my leave from his office, and when I checked the time it was already lunch time when a man was rushed in and a paramedic pulled me along while rolling the man into a ward, I stood there lost after arriving here I mean I was supposed to be at my lunch break but now here I am attending to a man who seems physically fine; so I got close to him while the others left to go get a doctor and I watched him closely and soon started checking his pulse. I checked everything that needs checking and he was fine so I reached out for his forehead were he held my hand, much to my surprise he smiled at me which made me shocked at his act and I tried to pull my hands while he just held it ** you beautiful little thing ** he said ; which made me rolled my eyes at him I mean I'm a person if you could see and he said ** don't give me that look sweet heart** which made me know that perhaps this guy is nuts which made me raised my other hand to reprimand him and he held it and seems like he wants to kiss me, I pushed him and he started laughing much to my surprise doctor Tim came in and I saw the look in his eyes like they know each other ** you may leave now,,,, I will take it from here ** which I breathed a sigh of relief and left.
